A Moment In Time by Isobel Kelly
REVIEWED By Becky Cox
A Moment in Time by Isobel Kelly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was gifted a copy for an honest review.
Keva and Jaysen's story is a series of twist that keeps you on your toes.
"Keva O’Neill escapes Ireland and her stepfather’s greedy schemes and flees to Athens. She needs a job and a place to hide. Jaysen Sebastian needs a language specialist to assist in his international negotiations. It seems like the perfect match and, as Jaysen sweeps her into marriage, their attraction deepens into love. But sinister forces are at work to destroy their happiness by any means possible."
I enjoyed Keva' sense of humor and spunkiness. Her personalty made it easy to connect with her character. Jaysen, began his relationship with Keva strictly to gain an heir, but realized he felt a true connection to her. A Moment in Time is a sweet love story and a journey to discovering each other for Keva and Jaysen. But it is also so much more. You never know what is coming in the next chapter and I enjoyed the originality of the plot. I would recommend this book to romance story enthusiasts. Well written having humor, angst, love and excitement. Great combination.

Billionaire Untamed ~ Tate by J.S. Scott

Billionaire Untamed by JS Scott
5 Sexy Stars
Wow. Just wow! I have been waiting forever for Tate's story and oh my God, it is absolutely worth the wait! I loved everything about this book except I really wanted more! More Tate! More Lara! More steamy sex! More everything! I knew I was going to love Tate but JS Scott surpassed every expectation I had. Tate is definitely a sexy alpha with a sweet side that loves deeply. Whether it was love for his family, friends or Lara, he wasn't shy about letting it be known - but please, don't mistake him for a softie (he is ex-Seal, after all)! I think Lara is JS Scott's strongest female yet and I really loved her character. The story itself and the writing are outstanding. There's a perfect mix of love and sassyness and definite intrigue. At one stage I was sitting there with my heart in my throat thinking 'where is JS Scott going with this?!' I really love the cameo appearances we get from the author's other billionaires - it makes the reading that much more special. I know I'm being greedy, but I'm already counting down to the next billionaire in this series! This was a fabulous read and I don't hesitate to recommend both this book and the series as a whole.

Descent And Desire by Angelique Voisen
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Descent and Desire by Angelique Voisen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
An interesting take on paranormal. I enjoyed the character interaction, some dramatic and humor. “My thing?” Gavin grinned in spite of the situation, and Charlie found herself grinning back.
Perhaps sometimes one needed humor even in dire situations. The battle scenes were well written and exciting. Kathryn pressed a hand over the creature’s chest, her brows furrowed with concentration.
“Why are you healing it?” Charlie asked, flabbergasted. The wounds didn’t close though. Howling in pain, the creature’s body shuddered violently, and then went still.
"An anomaly born to a family of seers and healers, Kathryn Axel has only been allowed to live because of a prophecy, and prophecy demands betraying her friends and sacrificing the man she loves."
Kathryn having been told the prophecy at a young age knew the it foretold her death and that of the one she loves. To save herself additional heartbreak she refuses to let Gavin near her heart. She has avoided physical or emotional contact with Gavin her whole life until she just can't resist him any longer. Kathryn, trying to protect her friends, doesn't tell them the entire prophecy either so they can enjoy their lives and not be aware of their impending deaths. But there comes a time when the truth must be revealed to all.
I enjoyed Descent and Desire and look forward to more from this author. I would recommend this novella to all paranormal romance readers.

A review of Phantom Wolf by Kia Carrington-Russell
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Phantom Wolf by Kia Carrington-Russell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sia is a Phantom Wolf. Once a Phantom Wolf has been created, they hunt their blood pack and slaughter all their loved ones. Except for Sia, who woke years after her death to find herself rampaging through the land on a lonely path.
Sia was murdered by the human boy she loved and awakened as a Phantom Wolf. She feels deep guilt for not listening to her father and his warnings of humans and heartbreak from the love she had for the human boy Thomas. The supernatural characters given to us by this author are new to me. They are, from my interpretation, half wolf and half human. Sia is a Phantom Wolf which is half dead/half alive version and has some supernatural powers. Her emotional journey through her anger at being murdered by someone she loved and humiliation at being a Phantom Wolf to learning to love again and reestablishing a childhood friendship is a roller coaster. You really feel for her turmoil. She feels compelled to protect Keeley from real and perceived dangers. Sia doesn't believe that she is allowed to love again or feel happiness again. Between Keeley, Kiba and young Trim she learns she is still capable of both. The interactions between Kiba and Sia are humorous and will give you a chuckle or two.
The patience Sia's childhood friend Keeley and Alpha Kiba have with her is heartwarming.
I felt a connection with several of the supporting characters.
A good debut novel for a young author that has great potential.

A review of Skylar's Dream by Caissy Bourdreau
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Skylar's Dream by Caissy Boudreau
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Rating 3.5
Skylar's Dream is a debut novel for Caissy Boudreau. If you are looking for an action packed booked, this one delivers.
Skylar has dreams about family members and premonitions of future battles she will have to fight in order for her and friends to save the world from the Dark Angels. She, along with childhood friends Rhiannon and Blaze, her father and some other supernaturals sent to assist her, fight several battles against the Dark Angels. Along their journey several characters finds their mates. If you love the supernaturals Caissy has given you a wide in this book.
It was a bit fasted past for me and at times I struggled to follow the story line. Readers who enjoy a fast paced book with lots of action would enjoy this book. I had a hard time connecting to the characters due to the speed at which everything occurs.

Blyss by J.C. Cliff
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Blyss by J.C. Cliff
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Besides the fact that I want to have a martini with the author who can think up this story, I loved this book. Blyss has an unconventional story line and it is a little dark. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't stop reading until I finished. Jules' life is on track, getting ready to graduate college and get married. Her mogul dad demands she spend her last summer of college at home with him. Jules is missing her fiance' but is pleased with how the summer has gone with her father, who has been more attentive than normal. Then everything changes. She is kidnapped and taken to a facility to be trained as a sex slave for an obsessive Nick. She is to be trained for Nick by Travis (a hottie)through the use of drugs (Blyss) and emotional manipulation. During the process Jules and Travis develop a strong bond. Jules is strong and clever. She never gives up trying to escape and defy her captures. Who doesn't love a strong female character. JC Cliff is an excellent author and amazing story teller. I finished Blyss and immediately one-clicked Blyssful Lies. Well done JC, you have a new fan.

Evelyn by Tracie Podger
REVIEWED BY Kerry Callaway
Evelyn by Tracie Podger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow!!! I have only read a handful of novella in the past that pack a load of emotion into every page this novella being one of them!! I loved this book it took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, the main characters had a strength that I loved given their past circumstances and the situation they found themselves in, and all the way through reading this I hoped they would find the future they would dream of but knowing from the start that not all things work out as we hope. This novella can be read as a standalone or part of the Fallen Angel series.
This book shares the story of Evelyn, she is a sixteen year old girl who falls in love with her fathers employee, Rocco is not a straight forward guy yet that doesn't stop Evelyn from blushing everytime he talks to her and being attracted to him even though she knows he could break her heart. Just before her seventeenth birthday her mum dies of cancer and she is left having to grow up quick and support her father and look after her younger siblings, always in the background is Rocco and her feelings for him keep getting stronger then after one night their relationship changes!!!
I loved this novella, it had me grabbing a box of tissues several times while reading it!!! I could read it over and over again, I am definitely going to read the Fallen Angel series next!!!

The Vampire Coalition: The Complete Boxed Set by J.S. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
WOW!! Paranormal lust. I am in love with the Hale brothers, each one just as hot as the next. Ethan is one of my favourites since it was my first read, it was him who got me addicted to these reads. I have to say once I was introduced to Daric, I was like Ethan who hehe!! What? He is the king of all vampires, I have a thing for men in power and these vampires have power in spades. Liam and Rory are Ethan's twin brothers with Nathan as the eldest brother, he has kept is brothers together since their parents were killed by fallen vampires. Together all good vampires fight against the fallen who try to destroy humans and kill mates of the vampires who are lucky enough to be mated and find the keeper of their soul. Each brother has their own story to tell, all hoping they find their one true mate. Many vampires believe they will never be mated, especially Liam and Daric as they are healers for all vampires who need there help, healers have not been mated for thousands of years. The chemistry in these stories is off the charts epic. I could re-read this series over and over. Once you get to Daric's Mate you will know all the characters very well, it will be hard to pick a favourite. Thank you for writing a fantastic series Author JS Scott.

Trancing the Tiger by Rachael Slate
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was gifted an ARC for an honest review. The thrill of discovering a new author with such talent is an amazing feeling. Trancing the Tiger had my attention from the first page. This is not a shifter story but something much deeper in the Chinese culture of the spirit animal. Sheng and Lucy's story is an exciting love story of two lonely hearts. In the Chinese culture of Chosen ones, Sheng, educates Lucy in bonding with her spirit animal, how to fight and protect herself and how to submit her Rabbit spirit animal to his Tiger. Sheng was expecting the Dragon and was disappointed at first to learn that Lucy had the Rabbit spirit but learns that a Rabbit can be a formidable ally. Lucy teaches Sheng just as much by teaching him how to love. Through their journey they develop a trust and a bond that I enjoyed watching develop. A beautiful, well written story. Looking forward to more from Rachael Slate. Reviewed for Isalovesbooks Blog.

Billionaire Undone~Travis by J.S. Scott
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
Billionaire Undone ~ Travis by J.S. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Another fantastic read by Author JS Scott. What can I tell you about Travis, well first off he comes across as a total nightmare of a boss, Ally his assistant has worked for him about four years now, she loves her job, needs her job, actually she has two jobs just to support her low life partner Rick, so after Rick, Travis definitely looks more promising. Rick is a cheating lying pig. Yeah safe to say I didn't like him a all. Ally supported him through college putting her own life on hold, Rick did not and does not deserve her. Travis never really notices any changes in Ally till it is spelt out for him, she just carry's on doing her job but it is time for a break, she needs a holiday, never took a holiday in four year. Travis has other ideas, clearly he comes across as having a shitty attitude to say the least but he actually likes Ally, more than likes her. Lucky Ally. He needs her to go away with him so say's no to her time off. OMG she had that holiday book in for a year, she flips out on Travis revealing some home truths. Now it is time for Travis to sit up and take notice. This has some great scenes in where I laughed out loud, it's great when a writer can input some laugh out loud moments into a story. Travis actually cares about Ally and Ally is definitely lusting after HOT Billionaire Travis. I love it when the male alpha's in Author JS Scott reads go all possessive. This is a great read with lots happening. Great sex scenes 'tick', laughter 'tick, hot male billionaire 'tick', great story line 'tick', stubborn woman 'tick', action 'tick', page turner 'double tick'. Thank you Author JS Scott for another brilliant read.

The Dawn: The Bombs Fall by Michelle Muckley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Michelle's characterization and imagery while detailed is not overwhelming. She has done a wonderful job in describing the emotional turmoil of post apocalyptic life and the physical results of starvation and dehydration. Zach survived the bombing and is living in Delta tower doing what is necessary to make it day to day. He carries a heavy amount of emotional guilt from pre-bomb decisions and does what he can to help those around him to amend for his perceived wrongs. On the verge of giving up he meets Emily. His world begins to change drastically. I loved this book and look forward to finishing this series.

Take by Ella Frank
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The Boys are back and hotter than ever!!!
I was left in such a state of shock at the end of the first book so I was ecstatic to find that book two was out and ready to be read, I just couldn't wait to read more about Logan and Tate.
In Take we see a more emotional side to both male leads, and although things seem to be working out you are kind of waiting for the coin to drop, I found this second instalment more emotional and although it was a shorter read it was packed with dialogue and content, as it was expected from Ms Frank the story had plenty of sexual content but never out of context and always done in a descriptive way.
I liked that we are learning more about each of the characters. In this book we see a gentle and more sensitive side of Logan who is slowly starting to come out of that dark place in his mind, Tate however, has to come to terms with the repercussions of his decisions and the impact that these have brought to his relationships. Although at first we seem to have Tate all figured it out, is actually him the one that holds his cards closer, and even though we get glimpses to his thoughts, we still don't know his actions, he not only surprises Logan but the reader too, will we ever figure him out? Perhaps in book 3.
The secondary characters bring a lot to the story and we get to see the introduction to someone from Logan's past, and just when we think the story can't get any better and more addictive, Ms Frank leaves us one more time in limbo expecting what I hope will be the concluding part.

I actually don't know where to begin with this review on a truly outstanding book. My emotions are running positively rampant as they did throughout the whole book. I refuse to sit and rewrite the blurb or summarize the story for you but I will tell you how it made me feel. Honestly, this book had me in its grip from the very first page. I felt as though I was right there with this beautiful group of friends as they faced high school, as they discovered secrets that would forever change their lives, as they fell in love. I got angry, I laughed and I cried. My god, did I cry! If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. This is the first book I've read by this author, but I can assure you that I'll be hunting down her others. It is beautifully written, flawless in fact. It goes without saying that I absolutely recommend this book.

Amber Alert by Sara Schoen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I just finished reading Amber Alert, and I must say WOW!! This book had me hooked from the Prologue. I was completely enthralled with the story line, and the suspense of it. Literally sitting on the edge of my chair at points, wondering what the heck will happen next, or urging Anna to run or something. I will say there were a few grammar errors, but I am not letting that affect my rating. There may be a couple of scenes in the book that some might find hard to grasp as realistic, but one can never really say how they would react given certain horrific situations. This is a dark read, very disturbing and I was happy that the author didn’t get too graphic during certain scenes as well. Some things are better left up to the imagination of the reader. This was a well told story, I was very surprised when I learned that the author is 19 years old, wow! I am not a very fast reader, I started this book mid-day and was up until 3am fighting sleep, finished it while having my morning coffee. It was a very good read and I will recommend this book to anyone interested in a dark tragedy. Well done!

REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Eye of the Diamond-T by Bill LaBrie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
An unexpected thrill is an understatement. Bill's ability to described situations and scenery so well that you feel you are there is a true talent. Nick's personal journey through deep reflections of his life and things that happened as a result of his action or inaction are the basis of the story along with the intrigue surrounding his job as an over the road truck driver. The descriptions of the places and people of the era during his military service and later along Route 66 were spot on and enjoyable. After being injured in an accident and rescued by an elderly Indian man whose daughter assisted in nursing Nick back to health he learns much about himself. The Hobi traditions and beliefs along with Nick's Greek heritage were a big part of the story. "Because we are all made of stars. Everything is made of stars. Stardust."(/b) The intertwining of the people from his past and present kept you on your toes. Don't look away because you will miss something important. Through his journey, I believe, he learns to love himself. I won't spoil the book, but the ending was poetic. An amazing first novel.

The tough decisions to be made to keep her human family safe, and the great sacrifices that she makes to do what she believes to be in their best interest despite her undeniable draw to Etienne. He attempts to teach her about her new life and train her use of her gifts. The attraction and deep bond that Sasha and Etienne share is heart-wrenching at times. SHE by Annabel Fanning 4.5*
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from Annabel Fanning. It is a love story, pure and simple and it was close to perfect. I absolutely love the characters - Logan is just gorgeous: a real sweetheart who loves absolutely and Gemima with her smart mouth is someone I can see myself being friends with. It's really beautiful watching their relationship grow in leaps and bounds and the sex scenes are omg so hot! The story itself is impeccably written and the only thing I found distracting was that some of the dialogue and slang was a bit more toward Australian/British rather than American which is where the main characters are originally from. Overall this was an outstanding read and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

4 Scorching Hot Stars
If you're after a quick, scorching hot read, then don't go past Stranger by NM Catalano. I read this book in a single sitting and I positively devoured it. I love Marco - he's so damn sexy and that mouth of his need NEVER be washed with soap! Elizabeth is a great main character and while I understand that her past would have a direct impact on her confidence, I do wish she'd been a bit more assertive and displayed more of a backbone. That aside, I quite liked her character and my heart really did hurt for her at various points.
I believe this is the authors debut novel and for that alone, it's great! I know that this book is part of a series so I'm hoping we'll find out more on Elizabeth's relationship with the rest of her family and also more about Marco in the next book. Although this is the first book in the series, it does not end in a cliffhanger and I definitely do recommend it.

SWEET HOTNESS!!
This book was a total page turner, I have to applaud anyone who writes about billionaires now days because lets face it, there are so many stories out there it is hard to make one stand out from the rest.
However, Honey Girl draws you into the story from the word GO and it has so many twists and turns you just want to keep on reading more, I was totally addicted to the story and just wanted to keep reading to see what will happen next, the steamy moments add to the substantial story and there is plenty of dialogue to go about.
Both leads and secondary characters are well delivered and each is portrayed exceptionally well, I for one fell in love with Alexander, although at times I do wanted to throw something at him but if a book brings out any emotion, that for me is an indication of a great read!
I cannot wait to read next in series and more from this Author.

Love & Hate by J.J. Dorn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
LOVE AND HATE two opposites and yet two very strong emotions.
This is the story of Paige and Cutter, well it's the story of a very wealthy and protected girl who has been bullied her entire life by the one and only Cutter Daniels, so when fate throws them together and they end up in the same college you cant help but feel wary of the sudden attraction they feel for each other, is it really possible to move from Hate to Love in such a short time but impossible to Hate from having loved someone so fiercely?
The story had great pace and my only wish is that it would have been made as a standalone. Sometimes the Author takes bog risk ending the story in a cliffhanger as there are so many new books coming out every day, the plot has to be strong enough to withstand the test of time, but I think J.J has done just done and left us desperately waiting for the next instalment. The chemistry between the M and F leads is explosive and cant wait to see what the future has prepared for this two.
Love the secondary characters and I can see them having their own story in the future. A well written debut novel for Ms Dorn.

Love With Every Beat by KL Shandwick

Love with Every Beat by K.L. Shandwick
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My heart will always beat for Alfie!!!
After reading The Everything Trilogy by KL Shandwick, you can't help but feel an emptiness within, the idea of not reading more about Alfie and Lily is a crude one, THANKFULLY we didn't have to wait long as KL has presented us with Love With Every Beat, Alfie's POV.
I am not a big fan of the individual POV's but I rather read each side of their story as I read along, however, this book for me was like a completely different experience, more than a complement to TET I felt I was reading a new book and that really brought a smile to my face.
We really needed to read about him, we needed to know why Alfie was the way he was and what made him behave as he did in all those books. His story is a complex one and you can't help but fall in love with each passing chapter, with each new page and with every new song. I think at times when reading the trilogy you see yourself cringing at some of the things he did to Lily or the way he behave towards her, but it's this book the one that will show us his true self and why he is the man he is today.
Heartache and loss have played a major role in his formative years and he has used the only mechanisms in order to survive and cope with life, it's those bad habits the ones which at time hinder his relationship with the only person who has made him feel alive one more time, and those factors will be critical to him if he wants to win the love of Lily.
KL is wonderful at the use of the descriptive, and at times I feel like I was a voyeur into Alfie's most secret and hidden thoughts, the story flows so well it's like you want to pick up the phone and call him and ask to tell you what new song he has written or when is his band playing next. Fans of rockstar romance will absolutely love this story. Although it can be read as a standalone I will strongly advice reading The Everything trilogy to thoroughly enjoy Alfie's book.

WOW WOW WOW
I came upon this book by a recommendation from a friend on FB and OMG I just could't put the book down, my only regret is not discovering it sooner.
I am a big fan of the M/M genre but this book completely blew my mind. We are presented with two very strong ML, Logan and Tate, even the names are perfect! Logan is "sure" and confident about his sexuality, so far he has slept with whomever he wants either male or female and he is content with his arrangement, that is until he meets Tate. Tate is gorgeous he is one perfect specimen of a man the only problem, he is straight as one can be, that is until he comes face to face with Logan.
In this book Tate will have to come to terms not only with his sexuality but with the realisation that accepting feelings which are new to him will bring a whole lot more complications, he had just come out of a bad marriage and never in a million years would he have thought that being chased by a man would be a turn on.
Logan only asks one thing of Tate, to TRY and give in to his desires. But if he does, will he run and turn his back to the "what if", or will he give in and try without thinking of the "what next".
I am currently reading book 2 and if that book is written as well as this one I know the series will become one of my favourite to date.
Exceptionally written, Try has moved me in ways no many books have, the chemistry is palpable and the characters are very well presented with an structured and delivered dialogue. For me, 5 HOT HOT and super HOT stars.

A review of Billionaire Untamed by Author J.S. Scott.
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
Billionaire Untamed ~ Tate by J.S. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Deliciously Brilliant!!
Let's start at the very beginning. The Billionaire Series captured my heart from book one. I have always found Author JS Scott writing to be amazing to say the least. I have been beyond excited to read Billionaire Untamed as reading previous Billionaire books in this series I have heard little snippets of Tate Colter. I am please to say I am not disappointed, as always it was brilliant, in fact I would even say her best read to date. I will never be swayed from loving the first Billionaire Simon but I have to say that in my opinion this read was her best work so far. You would think that all reads are the same, being a Billionaire Series but no the opposite, new story lines to keep you turning the pages. Of course they all have the same possessive attitude but that's the part we love. Tate Colter is everything Lara Bailey dreamed of. We know Tate lives in Colorado, he's an ex SEAL, he is quiet but deadly, lives by himself and prefers it that way, he is full of sex appeal not in your pretty boy way but in a bad ass way. He is very protective of his family and friends so we know he has a good heart. Being lonely is something he will never admit to. Lara Bailey an outsider, she comes to stay at the resort which his family own. Tate notices Lara immediately but she seems more interested in finding out about his brother Marcus, she comes across as a strong woman. I was shocked when I found out what she does for a living, obviously she lied to Tate about her career trying to keep her secrets, unknown to her Tate still has a lot of connections. Tate questions her and she can not lie anymore. When he actually finds out the real reason why she has come to Colorado, he finds himself laughing but it is no joke to Lara. So together they check something out, clearly you can tell Tate thinks he has nothing to worry about. Lara knows different she has studied this family for a while now. A situation arises putting them both in danger, I couldn't believe what I was reading to be honest, it's a very vulnerable scene. I was gasping and thinking no this can't happen. I was totally drawn into to this story. The chemistry was off the charts amazing, I couldn't put this read down until I read 'The End'. Thank you Author JS Scott for another Sexy, Gasping, Hot Billionaire read. ARC was gifted in exchange of an honest review.

Mine For Tonight by Author J.S. Scott
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
Mine for Tonight ~ Simon by J.S. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this read. It was one of my first ever reads when investing in a kindle. Simon is seriously HOT. Lucky for Kara he was in love with her. He is very protective of Kara, watched her from afar but unable to get close as he believes she wouldn't be interested. He has a horrific past that he doesn't like to share and likes to do things certain ways, that is until he finds himself looking after Kara and she manages to open up his heart. He realises he can't live without her but he is set in his ways and well Kara is a stubborn woman, she is not about to be bossed around. She is very independent, losing her parents at a young age. This is a fantastic read, a beautiful love story to fall in love with. Simon is definitely MINE!. Author J.S.Scott writes the most amazing stories involving Alpha males that I am sure everyone will love.

chasing Reese by Imy Santiago
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
chasing Reese. by Imy Santiago
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A wonderful debut book. There were several aspects of this book I really enjoyed. The setting is original and fresh. Music is a big part of the characters personalities "without music, the universe is an empty place filled with hollow souls." Catalina has had a heartbreaking past but has focused on her career and is a success in her field. She is beautiful and unique. My favorite part is that she is a normal size woman, not a stick figure, making her much more relate-able. Stryker's heart was broken by his ex and he isn't looking for love. I enjoyed watching he and Catalina work through the respective issues to reach each other. "It's okay to not be strong. Sometimes you just have to fall apart so you can be pieced back together again." Jackson is a fun-loving hilarious character and I can't wait to read more about him. Imy has done a fabulous job with this book and I look forward to reading the next installment. There is a cliffhanger.

Sawyer Bennett - With a Twist (Last Call book 4)
This is the forth book in Sawyer Bennett's Last Call series, however it can be read as a standalone. I've yet to read a book by this author that I haven't loved and With a Twist is certainly no exception to that. While Wyatt is only a minor character in the previous books, I've actually been looking forward to his story since book one and it was absolutely worth the wait. There was plenty of intrigue and suspense to keep us on the edge and omg the serious steam between these two was hot hot hot! The book was perfectly written and the characters are definitely likeable (except the ones you hate!). I actually can't wait to read it all over again before the next book comes out! You'll definitely have to read the book to find out what happens when a sexy undercover cop and an ex-stripper FBI agent cross paths. 5 sexy stars from me and I absolutely recommend this book and series.

I just finished reading this book about a strong (and curvy) woman who has lost a lot in her life time and instead of crumbling into a ball of self-pity, she throws herself into her work. Now Catalina finds herself surrounded by snow and dreading every second of it. You see, Catalina is a sports journalist but she has one condition, no snow sports. Catalina doesn’t want to be reminded of how she lost her fiancé. But circumstances are working against her and she ends up working when she should be on vacation. What happens to her while she is on this assignment is destiny and it was just lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it and had to keep reading, even though I was going through my own little hell, at the time I started reading this book and I had to stop. Once I got back to it, It helped me escape my own worries and stress, instead I laughed and cried and oh my!! Some of the scenes between Catalina and Stryder…. Oh My… Imy has written a story about real people, flawed people and I loved that. This book is well written, the storyline keeps your attention and I absolutely loved it!!! Way to go Imy!! Looking forward to reading your next book. I am leaving an absolute 5 out of 5 Stars for this one.

A Review of chasing Reese by Imy Santiago.

I was gifted this ARC in exchange for an honest review. OMG!!! I absolutely loved this debut novel from author Imy Santiago, the storyline was well written and I could imagine the stunning scenery and Stryder and Jackson are to die for - still don't know which one I love the most!!
The story starts with Catalina, she is a journalist for Xsports, throughout her life she has lost everyone close to her apart from her best friend Faith, as a result of this she has thrown herself into her work for the past four years. Catalina finds herself having to take over an assignment for her colleagues, to go on a press tour for the famous Jackson Reese the reigning Olympic Snowboarding Gold medalist. Due to four years ago this is going to be a hard assignment for Catalina that is going to bring back horrible memories. On this assignment she is partnered with the famous freelance photographer Stryder Martynus who happens to be Jackson Reeses personal photographer and best friend. This is the start of an amazing relationship between these three characters. Jackson and Stryder are seriously talented in their fields and seriously hot to imagine, as I wrote before I still don't know which one I love the most!! I loved the dynamics between the characters it was refreshing, I loved the closeness built between the characters, closeness brought closer by their own internal battles.
Heart stopping moments in this book have definitely got me wanting more, I can not wait to read more about this trio especially Jackson Reese.
Thankyou Imy for the opportunity to read this ARC and for the snippet of book two, I loved every minute of reading this book!!!

A Review of chasing Reese by Imy Santiago.
REVIEWED BY Melinda Lazar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book by Imy Santiago and it's hard to believe that it's a debut novel! I found it to be very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed the multiple points of view. I really liked that the main characters are in their early-mid 30's so they certainly had more maturity and depth to them and I was so glad that they didn't jump straight into bed at the first (or second opportunity) because that would have absolutely taken away from the story. I have to say, some character reactions were over the top and dramatic to the point that I was taken out of the story momentarily. Overall it was a great read and I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in this series. I recommend it and give 4 stars.
