Catalyst is my first book by this author. I will definitely be checking out more of her work.

When I started reading I thought it was a tragic story of loss and a second chance at love. Well, it is that, but so much more. Riley gave me some great twist and page turning chapters as the story progressed.

Don't want to give anything away so won't go into detail about the story. The synopsis is all you need to know going in.

It is a fairly quick read so no great depth in the characters but I did feel like I knew them. Tinsley's friend Shannon was a great supporting character and a sassy best-friend. Liam was always a constant good friend to Tinsley.

A surprise thriller from an author that is new to me! Would recommend to anyone who likes a bit of thrill in their romances.

I didn't read any teasers or hype about this book. I wanted to go in blind, forming my own opinions.

Honestly, the author notes at the end touched me as much or more than the story itself.

Lily is an amazing heroine that I grew to love more as the story progressed and the last few chapters I beamed at her!! I cheered for her, pleaded with her and hurt for her.

Ryle is gorgeous and ambitious and had such a sweet side to him. I loved him at times and hated him at times and then I think I kind of love/hated him all the time.

Atlas. Well first off what an awesome name! Loved Atlas from the start and just grew to love him more. What a resilient amazing man.

Colleen made me look inside a reality that I didn't really want to look at but so glad I did. It Ends With Us, is such a personal story and a learning experience. It showed me a side of life I am personally unfamiliar with but understand so much better through her words.



Is this my favorite Colleen book, no probably not. But it is an amazing story that needed to be told and Colleen has expertly done that. Hats off lady, another great book.

I always like a feisty romance and this one is that. There is plenty of banter with sassy and domineering characters. First we have the Rock Star on the rise and team that with the girl with abandonment issues. She gets it understandably from an incident from her past. Her dad had issues too, but is now thriving in his new business, and that is what he wants for his daughter as well. So he asks her to come to the Pub, and help out over the summer. This is where Caroline meets Kane, and from the first instance, its intense. Things happen quite quickly from enemies to friends to lovers in a small amount of time. They are both high-spirited and stubborn, and each wants a certain thing. At present, Kane has a full time construction job, that he happens to do with his band mates, ONS. The bond that the band have is like brothers. There is nothing that they wouldn't do for each other and the ribbing is funny.

I enjoyed this book even though it was fast paced, maybe a little to much that it made the relationship seem hasty and unnatural. I think the characters needed to evolve more as it came across as immature at times. Also, the court proceedings felt unauthentic with witness procedures. On the whole, this story is good and I would recommend it if you like your characters to be hyper and hardballs.

I am fast becoming a Gina LaManna stalker fan. This series is one of my favs that I know I will treasure for a long time. This is the second book for this series, and I am hoping not the last. It is one that is good for all ages.

Book two picks up not too long after Book one, and Scarlett and Mack are awaiting the outcome of the trial of his father. Noelle comes home with some exciting news, and then things just all turn to disaster! The Gurlz are around to help out as much as possible, but sometimes even they can't predict what is around the corner.

A few things that I absolutely loved about this book, the relationship between Mack and Scarlett just gets better and stronger. I appreciate Scarlett being a strong independent woman, but also that she knows it doesn’t demean you to ask for help from your man. I also loved the relationship between Noelle and Scarlett, best friends from childhood that has last even with distance.

I loved the cross over between the two series, and hoping this is a hint of Mack and Scarlett visiting Minnesota more often. Lacey and Scarlett have more in common than just their men. Great work Gina.

This was my first read by Kerrigan Byrne and as a historical romance fan, I'm glad to add her to my list of authors I want to read more of. This book was the third in a series of interconnected standalone books and although I haven't read the other two, it didn't affect my enjoyment.

This book brought something I love in a historical read - a Scottish brute of a highlander and Liam was certainly that. Mena, running from a dreadful past under the guise of a governess doesn't quite know how to perceive Liam.

"Here she stood, alone and defenceless before perhaps the deadliest warrior in the history of the British Isles, and she just called him to answer for his bad manners."

Mena was a very likeable character, knowing of her past you cannot but feel compassion for her as a person and her situation. Liam was somewhat frustrating in his actions but I was kind of charmed by his brutish behaviour. The children who are nearing adulthood in this story really added to my enjoyment, I liked both Andrew and Rhianna.

The chemistry was good between the characters with some flowery language at times but it fit the setting and situation. All in all a good historical read set in mainly in the Highlands of Scotland. I look forward to going back and reading the previous two instalments of the series.

This is the kind of book that is light, funny but totally satisfying. Melanie Harlow speaks to my romcom need but is always able to pack a punch of depth and feeling along the way. Man Candy isn't a fickle read with a fickle male character as the title could lead you to think. If anything, the lead male Quinn is the one with this act together.

Quinn and Jaime grew up around one another but here they are in their late twenties, Jaime avoiding Quinn and Quinn playfully forcing her hand. There was a lot of laughs particularly in earlier part of the book. The heat was pretty scorching but it had feeling and sensuality, not empty action. The dialogue hit all the genuine and believability buttons with great banter between the two characters. I particularly enjoyed the Instagram dynamic to their relationship.

For these two, what starts as something playful and platonic, causes Jaime to really examine herself and I enjoyed the character growth in Jaime immensely. This is a great addition to Harlow's repertoire which will please old and new fans alike. I am never disappointed by her work.

Another super cute book by Aubrey Bondurant! A girl trying to find love and trying to find her place in life. I think almost anyone can relate to that. The characters were very well presented. Kenzie and Colby are very entertaining. Her taunting him while he's trying to hold onto a big brother like roll was too funny. The others guys dynamic was fun too. Their banter was so realistic and very entertaining. I love Will. Anytime we can throw a hot guy with an Australian accent in, it's a good thing. Plus, he was a pretty genuine guy that helped Kenzie out. I have enjoyed all of this author's books and this one definitely did not disappoint. This one is a standalone that I highly recommend, but I also recommend you read her others as well!
