Coleman has a great story to tell and I believe she gets it across by the end of the book.

Sweetwater American has a great message and is a good story. It took me a pretty fair distance into the book to get into it. It started slow and a bit confusing. I put it down a few times and came
back to it.

There are some great characters that I enjoyed meeting. I felt like the heroine needed something during the first half to clear up some ambiguous and confusing things. All is explained eventually and I really liked the ending. It felt monumental and appropriate.

Sweetwater American covers some heavy issues of minorites and poverty. There isn't much levity.

This book was recommended by a few other people and I am glad I read it.

I don't even know where to start with this book. It is just that good! This book is very intense. It kept me glued to the very end. In fact I read this book straight through as the suspense was killing me.

Lydia met Declan when he was working undercover for her mob boss husband. She was completely in the dark about her husband until she witnessed something that had Declan, her sister, her son and her running for their lives.

Seemed like every turn there was danger and they were barely escaping. Then the story settles down with Declan leaving to clean up loose ends so he can safely build a future with Lydia and you're left with the feeling that maybe in the future there will be a HEA for these two.

Then WHAM Declan shows up and danger is right on his heels. The intrigue and suspense builds from there. What a surprise! Great job Stephanie! It's like we get two stories in one!

You won't be disappointed....there is some sizzling sex and with Declan formally undercover there is no doubt that he's a supreme alpha male (Yummy).

This book was amazing! An absolute 'must read'!

This is book 3 in the Jamison Valley series. I feel this can easily be a stand alone read. In fact I had not read the first two books prior to reading this book and had no trouble following along. This is also the first book I have read of Devney Perry and not only do I love this book I absolutely love the way Devney writes. I was pulled right into the book from the very first page and it keep me hooked until the very last word. I love when an author has such a way of writing that pulls you right into the book.

Felicity has plans moving back home after being gone for several years to make amends from her past and strengthen her relationships with her family.

I actually felt the emotional highs and lows she went through throughout this book. This girl is made of strong stuff! Every step of the way Silas was right there supporting her all the way. I think she drew strength from his unwavering support. Silas always loved her from a distance and his deepest hope is for a future for them. Seriously this man is one is a million. I want a Silas' of my own.

I absolutely fell in love with Felicity and Silas. This is a wonderful heart warming read that just made me feel that this story was 'real life'.

Silk Queen Book Two by GJ Walker-Smith

I had been dyyyyyying with anticipation for Silk Queen Book Two and Walker-Smith delivered in spades. This book was utter perfection and I was equal parts speed-reading because I couldn't get enough and at the same time forcing myself to slow down because I just didn't want it to end.

I have such a deep appreciation for Fiona and Jean-Luc having read both Silk Queen books. They weren't always the arrogant, condescending characters we got to meet in the earlier Wishes books and it was enthralling to meet their younger selves and learn how they came to be their grown-up versions. I've always (always!) had a soft spot for Jean-Luc and seeing him sweet and vulnerable and romantic just took my love for him to a whole new level. I find Fiona's character fascinating: the way she purports herself is in direct contrast of her roots and I think that's precisely why she is the way she is.

Ahhhhhhhhhh I just want to shout out and make everyone read these books! The world Walker-Smith creates is utter perfection; beautiful settings, flawed characters, hints of humor. I just can't get enough! Can't wait for the next book from this insanely talented author.

The Duchess Deal takes a less-used trope that I have previously enjoyed in contemporary books. I can't reveal what this theme is but I loved that context for the story and it is this theme that brokers 'duchess deal'. Emma is a lowly seamstress but previously a gentlewoman. Emma had courage and the spark needed to negotiate and spar with the Duke of Ashbury aka lambkins, sweetmeat, precious angel muffin (you had to be there).

Tessa Dare rolled out her delectable humour from the first chapter and what I love about this is the humour never detracts from the underlying story that has seriousness and heart aching moments. When Ash first claps eyes on Emma, he doesn't quite know what to make of her.

"He was blinded. Not by her beauty-though he supposed she might be beautiful. It wasn't possible to judge. Her gown was an eye-stabbing monstrosity of pearls, lace, brilliance and beads."

Life has been pretty tough on Ashbury and he's such a cantankerous personality but he definitely has a slice of the endearing about him. I felt compassion for him and I wanted the nice side of him that was buried to shine through. The ups and downs of Ash made for absorbing reading.

"Fortune was a heartless witch in perpetual anticipation of her monthly courses. And didn't Ash know it."

The story was excellent with depth and some predictability that didn't detract from enjoyment at all. The friends that emma developed in her new role in life were great side characters, as were Khan and Breeches. I suspect some of those friends may be part of the series as it evolves and I am excited about reading more from this eclectic mix of women.

Highly recommended for all fans of Dare and any new readers wishing for that unusual combination of rom-com historical style.

What, oh what did I just finish? That was an over angsty, crazy ride and my rating increased half a star just for the final chapter. Clever, clever Watt and their leave-you-breathless ends.

Now. Easton, the star of this show is more of an a**hole than I thought through the first three books. As a friend to Ella, he grew on me earlier in the series, but through the microscope, I have begun to see how beyond messed up he is. It's actually difficult to read the level of self-sabotage at times.

Hartley is a breath of normal fresh air right through FALLEN HEIR. She takes zero nonsense from Easton and I really liked how this book focused on friendship. I enjoyed how friendship forced more selflessness from Easton.

So, here I find myself yet again, drawn into the crazy addiction that are the Royals when part of me thinks that I can't be doing with their entitled selves. No doubt, I'll continue reading these guys despite my like/irritation with it. I think Erin Watt are talented in their purposeful writing of the super angst brats. Bravo!

Nineteen Letters is such a beautifully written story. Jemma and Braxton share an incredible life together. One day tragedy strikes and Jemma no longer remembers the life she once lived, her family or her husband. This story takes you on an emotional journey. Braxton shows his love and devotion to his wife every step of the way. He wants her to remember the bond and love they share. He writes her letters to remind her of all the special memories they have shared in hopes that it will jog her memory. We get to know their history through the letters as well.

This story is incredible. Baxton and Jemma stole my heart, ripped it out and gradually put it back together. I loved this story. Braxton's letter's were amazing. They were so descriptive and you could picture the scene in detail. I can't wait for other's to read this heartfelt story. I look forward to Jodi's next release.
