Audrey moved to America with her dad after her parents divorce. Her brother Max stayed in Australia with their mother. Audrey comes back to Australia after she gets notified that Max's cancer has come back and his prognosis is not good.

Max's friends are not giving up and have found an experimental treatment that is in Europe. They are brainstorming ways to come up with the money. They decided to 'Strip for a Cure' with Audrey putting together their choreography and teaching them how to dance.

You can tell as you read along that Aubrey and Drew (who is Max's best friend) have a connection and it continues to build up sizzle during the book.

I thought this book was very heart warming. It should have a motto "Friends don't give up on Friends".

I also did a lot of hand fanning when Drew was dancing/stripping with Audrey in mind. Seriously hot.

I can't decide if I'm aggravated with the cliffhanger or excited that the series is going to continue. I liked the interplay the characters in this book have. I think it's going to be a good basis for the books to come.

Yum. That's the first word that comes to my mind when I think of this book.

Jackson is such a serious person and very goal orientated in his life. He's not looking for a 'hook-up', he's looking for Mrs. Forever.

Skylar is the complete opposite. She just wants a hook-up and lives in the here and now. She doesn't look for tomorrow.

When first starting to read this book I couldn't decide if I liked Skylar or not. I think it was more that the way she's living life made me uncomfortable. She's almost dangerous not only to herself by others that she is with and I thought that Jackson would get hurt or get into a difficult situation. I don't think she means to be. She's just living her life to the absolute fullest. We get 'hints' that there is underlying reasons on why Skylar lives life the way she does. Once I got to know Skylar's story I realizes how strong and courageous she is.

I do think that the more Jackson is around Skylar the more he loosens up, relaxes and enjoys life more. He's one in a million.

This is the first book in the Sexy Bastard Series that I have read and had no problems getting into this book. I think it does well as stand alone but I do plan on reading the whole series and re-reading this book as characters 'revisit' and I think I'd appreciate the relationship of all the characters more.

I love books that grab a hold of you from the very beginning and this book does that.

Sports romance perfection - 6 stars.

This book is about friendship, deep relationships that matter and have substance. Sal is a professional female soccer player, not a big earner but she's doing something she loves. Kulti 'the Bratwurst' is her childhood soccer crush, now her coach. He's a grumpy guy, without any niceties, in fact, there's very little to like about him, yet I was unbelievably drawn to him. Some facets of his character reminded me of Fitzwilliam Darcy. I was like iron filings to his magnet.

Sal and Kulti clash and then develop a friendship. This friendship was one of my favourite relationships I've ever read; platonic love/hate, push/pull. Sal is a strong woman with drive but she's just a totally nice person with humility and kindness. They were quite opposite.

This was the slow, slow burn but my, the lust bubbled, at least on the reading end it did. The slow burn is not always for me but in this case it was perfect for this couple, this story. The story line had substance and kept me completely invested in the lives and careers of the characters.

Mariana Zapata has excelled herself in this book. Her writing was seamless, making me willing to wait for whatever eventuality this story produced. I honestly didn't want the book to end. For fans of previous books of hers there is a little surprise cameo. I am looking forward to reading more from this talented author.

YA is my genre sweet spot and I quickly knew that I was going to like this book. It ticked so many boxes, young love, chemistry, family relationships and that summer feeling. Jase and Samantha have an opposite sides of the track thing going on, despite being neighbours. Jase is a delightful young man, full of life, passion, fun and integrity. Sam is cautious and guarded but she is a development in progress.

Where this book excels is the character development around family relationships. There's a wicked mother and a large family in this book. The large family captured my interest and heart, it was so well written and I found myself under their spell. The writing in general I found to be of high quality enabling me to get lost in the pages but I felt like more was needed at the end. I felt somewhat disappointed by the abruptness of the ending.

This is my first book by Huntley Fitzpatrick and I wonder where I've been, not knowing about her till now. Her talent for an unusual story within the YA genre and character development means I am eager to find more of her work.

I saw the cover and blurb for this book and thought I knew what I was getting. Hot, military read. Yes, it was both of those things but it had substance and not only that I was totally bowled over by the emotion in this book. The feels were huge and I couldn't stop the tears flowing at one point.

This book starts in Vegas, which is a somewhat familiar trope. Noah and Jordan meet and their meeting on the dance floor is quite something. Then the story pulls away from familiar tropes into something I hadn't experienced before. I'd never considered what it must be like to be dating a military person at long distance, as opposed to military wives. This was great insight.

I love that this book blew away my expectations in a good way and pulled me into a great story that just cannonballs. This is my first read by Chanel Cleeton and I'm totally hooked onto the concept of this series and await with interest the next books, especially book three.

I have read all of NM Catalano's books. They are amazing. When I started seeing teaser's for the new book and read an excerpt from it. I was hooked and could not wait for it to release.

Gemma has lost everything because of her swindling ex husband. She is a brilliant lawyer and has now interviewed with the guy her husband took for over 3 million dollars. She has nothing else to lose and hopes that he will offer her a job.

Alexander offers her a job but he has a few ulterior motives. He wants to find out if she was involved in her husband's scheme and he wants her.

I loved this story. Gemma is a strong independant woman and goes after what she needs. Alexander is a business man that knows how to get what he wants. The chemistry between them is off the charts. There are many twists and turns. I was blown away by the description of the scenes. I have a feeling the next book is gonna be doozy. I am anxiously awaiting the next book.

En esta historia conocemos al multimillonario Max Hamilton quién es hermano de Maddie. Los primeros capítulos son tan dolorosos y la autora ha echo un increíble trabajo pues pude sentir cada emoción y cada momento de desesperacion al haber perdido a la mujer de su vida, a su esposa Mía.
No puedo decir más sin dar a conocer parte de la historia, lo único que puedo decir es que esta historia me facino de principio a fin. Tiene todo lo que esperaba y de lo que J.S. Scott es conocida en este género contemporáneo Erotico. Se los recomiendo a todos los lectores afines a este tipo de libros y amantes de un buen libro con un final feliz.
