I was looking forward to this second book of The Outskirts Duet, but unfortunately for me, it didn't hit the mark for a great conclusion. At times I felt it was rushed and flat which made it lose its edginess. There were other elements that dragged it down for me too. As much as I loved Finn, and I really did, the interaction between him and Sawyer was too ardent and felt over played and overdone. Storyline factual's are a big thing for me, and I felt there were inconsistencies with the medical issues and legal system areas. All of these made for me to roll my eyes at certain points within this novel because it was annoying.

Things I did enjoy about the whole series was the strong family connection. That always makes me smile. And there was plenty of banter between Josh and Miller & Finn and Critter that kept me entertained. Maybe if I read this duet all at once I may have a better rating, but I think more to the point, it would be awesome if condensed and made into one book. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of this duet, it won't stop me for reading the next book from T.M. Frazier.

Most Eligible Bastard by Annika Martin

The blurb on this book grabbed me from the get-go and there were a few laughs to be had. What did work for me was Vicki (and Smuckers): she was a great character with a backbone who didn't back down easily. What didn't work for me was Henry: sometimes his words showed little or no respect for Vicky (behind her back) and I couldn't accept it. I really wanted to love this book but I just couldn't. I'm giving it two stars for the laughs.

You will have to give me a minute to gather myself...Rock, Snake, Summer....Raven are smokin'! The scenes with the four of them will have you wiggling in your chair.

Raven is a great addition to this series. Bold and fearless, she is the perfect compliment to Snake. Tinkerbell definitely likes having her around! (wink wink)

Breathe brings more twisty plot with lots of intriguing characters and more of our bad boys, Rock, Snake, Bull and Gringo. You have to love all the bad boys each in their own way. Their filthy mouths and naughty ways, as well as, their loyalty and sense of honor.

Snake has met his match in the Queen of Hell, but has she met hers?

Catalano has another winner in the Program series with Breathe.

I recommend this book for over 18 readers that like the ex-military dominate bad boys, with a whole bag full of naughty.

Bodyguard (Hollywood A-List Book 2) by CD Reiss

I haven't read many books by Reiss book and to be honest, the ones I have read, I didn't really feel anything more than mere like. That was until I absolutely devoured the two books in her Hollywood A-List series - Bombshell and Bodyguard. Both were fantastic and Bodyguard was just perfect. While I'm calling this a series, you can absolutely read the books independent of each other.

Emily is choreographer to her best friend and superstar, Darlene. Carter Kincaid (I'm sorry, but can his name be any sexier? No. No, it can't) is Darlene's newest (and yeah, sexiest) bodyguard. When things with Emily's stalker escalate, Carter is assigned to her and the attraction between them cannot be denied, consequences be damned.

I loved Emily. Loved her. She'd gone through so much and continued to do so with strength and confidence. I felt for her, truly I did. I think her past would have broken so many people yet she was resilient and forthcoming, unwilling to hide. Carter was wonderful as our hero. Stoic, strong, dedicated. Adored him, not in spite of his secrets, but because of them and his handling of them. Huge heart, carries a gun, sexy AF. What more could one want?!

I absolutely loved their first meeting and it only went up from there. I smiled, I cried, I swooned. I wished that I was graphically inclined because there was one particular scene that deserves to be on teasers everywhere! Bodyguard is officially my favorite CD Reiss book and I won't hesitate to recommend it.

There is just no storyline that this Author can’t bring to life no matter how tough the circumstances. She has dealt with everything in her own unique Billionaire way.

I have followed this Author for many years now. I have downloaded every book, read every page and loved every journey she has taken me on. This book certainly has many emotional and intense moments, but one thing you can always guarantee when reading a book by Author J.S. Scott is she will forever give her readers a happy ever after.

You can’t know how someone will react to a situation they are forced into just like Xander was forced to live without his parents after they were murdered. A brutal crime that ended their lives far to soon. He couldn’t deal with it, didn’t want to feel or think. The hurt he must have been going through is incomprehensible.

His brothers think it’s time Xander had some help of the domestic kind. Samantha is just what Xander house needs and of course Xander will realise that Samantha is more than just a cleaner. Xander and Samantha definitely have lots in common including secrets that stop both of them from moving forward in life.

Not everyone loves Romance reads but to all those avid readers that do then this is your next hot, emotional read.

He Loves Me...Knot is a second chance romance.

Emma Jane and Knox were high school sweethearts destined for a life together until a huge misunderstanding.

Emma Jane moved and built a new life out of her hometown of Mobile, Alabama. She has a great job and good friends. She has never found a new love.

Knox focused on his career and is angry. When they meet again years later he doesn't give an inch...until he does.

Emma Jane and Knox burn the pages up. The southern accents are adorable.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was good getting to hear from Hendy and Presley from Out of the Ashes, and of course Becket Jones. Becket is a great character as well.

I recommend He Loves Me...Knot to all second chance romance lovers.

Natasha Madison is my go-to Author for my Romantic-Comedy fix!

The story of Kayleigh and Noah had me in stitches from beginning to end. After reading Tempting the Boss I was so looking forward to getting this story as we got a glimpse of these characters on the first book and as with the first one, it did not disappoint one bit.
Both Kayleigh and Noah are used to their one-night stands and meaningless encounters, but from the moment they first met, each get a taste of something new, and I am not talking of whip cream, chocolate and a whole lot of fruit, but of a need greater than both has ever encounter. From their fist "meeting" you know that Natasha has written something extraordinary for them and we are mere spectators as the story is unfolding. For Kayleigh, that has that golden rule of never sleeping with the same person twice, having someone like Noah, who will stop at nothing to woo the pants of her provides so many comical moments, however Natasha also gives us a outlook into the relationship between Lauren and Kayleigh which was lovely to read.

In overall, Tempting the Playboy is another great book by Natasha Madison, which is thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.
