it was amazing

Rebecca Sharp does it again, Bespoken is the second book in the Carmel Cove series and this book will not disappoint!
Jules is the heiress to the Rock Beach Resort; her glamorous world was perfectly tailored to further her parent’s empire. She was raised to never make a decision for herself and to be her parents puppet!

After her grandfather’s death, she is put in a situation where she gets hurt and is saved by Mick, the giant of a Texan who falls for her on sight! The events after this night highlight how her life has been moulded to suit her parent’s business and there is not one thought of what she wants in life.

To protect her Mick is told to stay away from her and under no circumstance tell her that he saved her life! This is something he struggles with as he cannot stay away from her!

She spends more time her cousin Laurel Ocean at the coffee shop and finds herself in a circle of friends and extended family so precious to her that her immediate family begin to take second place. Mick is always around to support her and give her the strength she needs. Along with his neighbour Gwen they show her that she can have her life’s ambition if she wants it, to be a nurse.

As the story develops Mick shows her what actual love is like and she grows from a quiet and nervous woman to an independent woman who makes her own decisions. Mick is a carpenter, living a simple life with so much to give but he is worried he cannot give her what she has been accustom to. He shows her through the story how he is everything she needs in life!

This is a wonderful story with a few twists! What is great is Mick is a twin and so the next story will be his and Eve’s story and I just cannot wait!

I read this as an ARC for joandisalovebooks and have given my honest opinion.
