Gibson's Legacy by K.L. Shandwick
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
I have just finish BETA reading this story, I'm so excited to share with you all. Let me introduce you to Gibson Barclay the new love of my life (only in my dreams). Gibson is the ultimate rock star, he certainly holds the power or does he?, woman literally throw themselves at him, along with their Knickers hehe!! I know right? well in all honesty he can have my whole knicker drawer, the man is a God, he knows a woman's body inside and out, he ozzes charm and sex appeal, he has seduction down to a fine art, but there's more to him than that, he is an amazing musician, thousands and thousands of people want to see him, men only wish they had half of what he has, every woman wants him if only even for a brief moment, Gibson has never even heard the word no, he gets what he wants cause it is pretty much there on a plate for him. Along comes Chloe Jenner, sweet Chloe, bless her, seen too much, heard to much but yet not lived enough. She has a brief encounter which leaves her stunned, no kissing, no touching just staring into the eyes of a man she has confessed to her friends she has fantasised about. Chloe believes that Gibson doesn't even know she exists, living in two completely different worlds Chloe often thinks of him. This story has brought out so many emotions, I have felt moments of sadness followed by happiness, I have laughed out loud, I have even felt worry, yes it is one hell of a story, I think cause it is so close to real life, real emotions, there's no alpha billionaire in this story but there is Gibson God Barclay, events that take place in this story could happen to anyone, I think it is that what makes it all seem so real, that and the fact that KL Shandwick can tell an epic story, I wish I could share so much more with you all but I hating giving out spoilers. Let me just say this book is now in my top five, I definitely recommend this read as it has had me gripped. Thank you for sharing Gibson with me KL, I can't wait to continue following this story.

Counting Stars by Alannah Carbonneau
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
When I first started reading this book I didn’t expect it to end up being the type of story that it was. When I say that I mean that is was not just about Reese and her struggles, it was so much more. It was a very well written story about finding that young love you think will last forever only to lose it. This story started out in a way that got me from the start and I didn’t want to stop reading until I was finished. Reese is only 22 and she is now a widow, not even married a year and she is dealing with a loss that no one can imagine. Her solution to hopefully find her way out of her funk after almost a year of seclusion and going about her day to day life only to survive, but not live.
Reese decides to spend her 1 year wedding anniversary in seclusion for a month in the country, camping and just exploring and hopefully finding an answer to her question. What she discovers about herself while simply going through the process of planning this excursion is one thing. But what Reese ends ups realizing about herself and what she had with Derrick and what she has waiting for her, are not what she expected at all. Suddenly everything is not as planned and Reese must figure out how to make the best of it, and in the process she learns so much more than she ever expected. The story was a little predictable, but hey! It’s a romance novel, what else did I expect to happen. The family dynamic of the Donnelley’s is surely one I will enjoy reading about again. I wonder which brother will be next? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the relationship between Reese and Logan was golden, I loved it!! And will totally recommend this book to anyone that wants a LOVE Story. I am giving this book a 4.5 star rating, but am scoring it as a 5 star on Amazon and Goodreads.

The Billionaire's Christmas ( A Sinclair Novella) by JS Scott
REVIEWED BY Tami Baney
My Rating 5 out of 5 stars.
Grady Sinclair! What a wonderful hero. He is devastatingly handsome. He has a reputation for being a heartless beast. A stranger at his door. His breath and possibly his black heart comes face to face with beautiful, Emily Ashworth. She is at his door hoping for a donation for some needy children. Will the dark, cold heart of Grady Sinclair defrost enough to help the children and beat for Emily?
I originally read this story as part of the Maine For Christmas book. I am happy that Jan is bringing us the amazing Sinclair men. Her Billionaires are like receiving a present. I love them and the author that brings us such wonderful romances. Warm up this winter with these sexy alpha men!

Star Promise by GJ Walker-Smith
The Perfect Dènouement
This is the last book in GJ Walker-Smiths Wishes series and they should all be read in order. While I have been waiting with baited breath for months to see how GJ would finish this series, I truly wasn't ready to say goodbye. This book was beautifully written. It included a perfect blend of humor as well as many touching moments. I love that GJ tied up everything with a perfect bow and I was so happy to see that Adam, Charli and of course, Bridget end up exactly where and how they're supposed to. GJ Walker-Smith uses words in the same way that an artist uses a paintbrush and boy, did she paint an amazing picture with Star Promise. She has wrapped up this story beautifully and it is my new favorite. I do not hesitate to recommend this series as they are all outstanding 5* reads.

Smoke And Mirrors by Margaret McHeyzer
REVIEWED BY Melinda Lazar
Smoke and Mirrors by Margaret McHeyzer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
As per usual, the master of twists, Margaret McHeyzer steps outside the norm with this outstanding selection of short stories. None of these stories were in any way similar or repetitive and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them. I particularly like that Ms McHeyzer left some of the endings somewhat vague so that we could form our own conclusions. I also LOVE that there are always little cameo appearances from characters we loved in previous books. All in all, I loved this collection of stories with a twist and won't hesitate to recommend.

The Billionaire's Christmas by J.S. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Yet another amazing book by J.S.Scott, I loved this book!!
In this book we get to meet billionaire Grady Sinclair the second eldest son to Martin Sinclair, Grady grew up always feeling awkward around society due to years of mental abuse from his alcoholic father, in Grady's adulthood due to his standoffish nature he is know as the beast around the townsfolk of Amesport. Then literally falling at his doorstep he meets Emily. Emily works at the Youth Centre in Amesport, her ex boyfriend has stolen the funds needed to keep the centre afloat and she was visiting Grady to see if he would be willing to offer his support to the centre. Grady is willing to donate to the centre but with a few stipulations to guarantee his donation. Here begins their relationship.
I loved Grady although to begin with he is very abrupt and moody the more you get to know him you can not help but fall for this protective, straight talking and damaged man. Emily after having her trust in men dashed after her ex-boyfriend, finds herself helping Grady to find happiness at Christmas again after years of hating it.
Thank you again for a great story J.S.Scott.

Twisted by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott
This is book two in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott's Lost in Oblivion series and is the story of Gray & Jazz.
While it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.
To say I've been dying to read this book since the last novella came out is an understatement and I am so happy to say that this dynamic writing duo did not disappoint in the least. I love that the writing went back and forth between the past and the present day. I love that there were some harsh realities that weren't glossed over. And I loved that there was so much passion and emotion between the main characters. Honestly, this book evoked so many emotions from me: There were a few lol moments, moments where I wanted to smack someone and moments where I had tears in my eyes and I loved every single bit of it. I cannot wait for the next chapter in Jazz & Gray's life and to read more about the other boys of Oblivion. This is truly an outstanding read that I would not hesitate to recommend and give it 5 Twisted stars.
