The Fragile Line-Part One by Alicia Kobishop

The Fragile Line - Part One (The Fine Line, #2)The Fragile Line - Part One by Alicia Kobishop
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 stars

This is the first book in a series and it's a shortish read but quite satisfying. The first few chapters are challenging in that Chloe, the heroine is hard to like. Chloe smacks of desperation in her desire for Logan and it's quite uncomfortable to watch. It is hard to respect someone who doesn't respect themselves. On the flipside, unrequited love is tough.

Chloe's infatuation leads her into the path of Matt. Matt is likable and real but I found him to be lacking a bit of depth. Chloe on the other hand was best in they presence of Matt. He seemed to bring out the best in her. This story so far is very 'normal life' told in a past and present timeline but it does draw you in.

I have to say that of all the characters in the book, Logan is the one who interested me the most, even though he's a side character. I can see that there is a full novel related to this new series that is the story of Logan and Liv, so it's good to know that I can follow these two up.

A copy of this book was provided by the author in return for an honest review.
