You have heard the saying, "Don't believe everything you read in the papers", right?
Well this is most certainly the case for Nate Sullivan. He is the rising football star who was the first draft pick for the Warriors. He has everything going for him - until that fight is brought up again and it's all rehashed. It is something Nate has tried hard to forget and move on from.

Olivia has finally scored her big break with her boss. She is a sports reporter that has been given the go ahead on doing a documentary on the Warriors draft selection - Nate. But at what price is this documentary going to cost Liv?

This second book in this series is just as praiseworthy as the first, maybe more so. Nate is the type of guy you want on your team, and on your side. He will defend in what he believes is the right thing. He may have just Graduated from college, but he is mature beyond his years. And this is one of the reasons that Liv was so attracted to him. It's not about the fit and delectable body - but it is not a deterrent either. There are just so many qualities to this man that will make any girl swoon. But Liv is not your average girl for that matter. She is in a mans world for her job, but she loves it. She gives as good as she gets. Liv just needs to loosen up a bit and maybe that is something Nate can teacher her. But their relationship needs to be kept behind closed doors. Nothing good can come of it if Liv's boss finds out she is dating the subject of the documentary. But how long can they keep the secret? How can Liv deliver to her best ability without throwing Nate under the bus? And when did it go from "just having some fun" to falling for each other?

If you are looking for a sports romance with some angst and plenty action, you can look no further. No problem if you haven't read the first book, but I recommend both of these beauties and I am looking forward to the next one immensely.
