My rating: 4 of 5 stars

EJ (Lizzy) Hatton is trying to break out as an associate producer with the guidance of her Uncle Wade on a prime time soap opera.

She is not thrilled at all when Reilly Donner is hired as the director. She met him several years ago at one of her dad's wild Hollywood parties. He was a young heartthrob actor then. She's never gotten over her crush on him.

She's quite hilarious with her tricks for hiding from him. He got pretty good at scoping her out. There's just something about Lizzy that has Reilly enriched. She's hiding her real self because she's having trouble moving on from the loss of her dad. She's even been wearing his clothes to feel his connection. She was raised by her dad and her Uncle Wade. Though I think sometimes I thought she came across as a bit spoiled. She also doesn't know how to handle her feelings for Reilly.

Lucky for her Reilly seems to be just the man to be able to see right through all Lizzy's barriers and provide her with everything she needs and guide her through the healing process.

I love that we get a glimpse into their future in this book.

This is a short but very entertaining read. There were points in this book I was laughing, felt sad for Lizzy, wanted Reilly to turn her over his knee and spank her because of how she was acting and then also cheering when they got together.
