Gun Shot HeartGun Shot Heart by Sam Destiny
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One thing that Blake does not do is relationships. Because of his job as a cop he does not want someone waiting for him not to come home one day. Tia is a bartender and basically has no life for herself as she's helping (mainly raising) her nieces and nephew. Blake and Tia hook up for a night.

When bartenders who resemble Tia are being killed Blake does everything in his power to protect her. Along the way, he's drawn into her everyday life and is realizing that there might be something worth taking a risk for.

With Blake in her life, Tia is opening her eyes that as much as she loves her nieces and nephew that something is off with her relationship with her sister. That the time is now to take control of her own life. Tia is such a very strong person.

I love the suspense, the mystery and intrigue of this book. My favorite type of book!
