Kaine has had a tragic loss that devastated him and made him cut ties with the outside world. He found seclusion in a mountain area in lark cove.
Piper is starting a new life for herself after a divorce. She finds the perfect location for her new home in the mountain area in lark cove.
There is also a hot neighbor close by although he is a bit grumpy. She is set to win him over and find out what has happened to him to cause him so much pain.
This story is beautifully written. Piper is just the medicine Kaine needs to mend a broken heart. Piper is in need of a second chance at love. They both have baggage from past relationships but will they get there happily ever after?
I loved this story. I like how they both share bits and pieces of there shattered life. It tugs at the heartstrings. You can't help but root for them to get it right.
