The Vacuum Chronicles by Rick Johnson

REVIEWED BY Kari Cox

The Vacuum ChroniclesThe Vacuum Chronicles by Rick Johnson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This story was...interesting. Myles is a nice guy, but extremely awkward and socially inept. Myles and Yvette both have had bad luck in the relationship world, both in different ways. I like to think there's someone out there for everyone - Yvette is Myles' someone. Just as unique in her own ways. The story had comedic parts. The inner monologue of Myles was pretty funny. He is one sad little fella.

I think the story was just a little too much for my taste. Some of the situations were just too far out there for me to get into - like the pimple popping. I think others may be able to find them funny. The interactions between characters seemed a little too far stretched from reality and their relationship didn't seem to flow realistically.

The writers provided some witty comments that I enjoyed, but overall I would say this book isn't my style. That doesn't mean it won't be yours!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
