The Brightest Sunset by Aly Martinez

REVIEWED BY Tina Shobe

I was very fortunate that I was able to read The Brightest Sunset within days of reading the Darkest Sunset. The cliffhanger at the end of The Darkest Sunset Sunset just about killed with anticipation.

OMG! The devastating situation that Porter and Charlotte are in just seems like there can't be a good solution for a happily ever after for them. Life has been so cruel to both of them.

Charlotte is just amazing. She puts Travis' needs before anyone else's, risking alienating herself from others.

The author's has a way of writing that pulls the reader into the story in such a way that you actually feel the emotions and turmoil each of the characters are going through.

I must say that I was hoping something mean would happen to Brady. The author did a great job portraying him for the ass that he was.

I highly recommend that you read this duet and read it in order. I can't say enough how amazing I found these books.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
