This book is absolutely fabulous. It has everything you could want in a book-intense sexual attraction, sexy hot alpha male, intrigue, humor, sizzling hot sex and suspense.
Security expert (former military) Ryan McLean is in the Caribean celebrating his friend's wedding. He hooks up the the beautiful Mariana Lora. He wakes up the next morning having been drugged, doped and a several million dollar necklace missing.
Ryan proves he's an expert at finds Mariana. He learns that Mariana is completing jobs to pay off a debt to a very dangerous man. She only has one left and it's a big one.
Ryan gets her out of trouble and works out a deal to clear her name. Things take a drastic change. Mariana is dealt a devastating blow and we are at the edge of our seats to see if she's going to make it out alive. Ryan is racing attempting to locate and rescue her.
These two can each tell when the other isn't being completely open or honest and call each other on it. The twist of humor in their dialogue is great and makes the story more 'real'. Fate made their paths cross and now they have work hard for Mariana to survive for them to have a future together.
