Sacked by Jen Frederick
4.5*

I love a good sports romance and Sacked by Jen Frederick is a new favorite of mine. The writing is flawless and the characters (including secondary) are hugely likable.

Knox is the star football player on the college team who is saving himself for The One: he's perfect; a great guy, sexy as you can get, a great friend/boyfriend/leader. And he thinks he's found The One in Ellie. Ellie is a great character to get to know. She doesn't fall at Knox's feet like the other girls do and really gives as good as she gets. The only problem is that she's got a secret that will impact on many people.

I loved the banter between Knox and Ellie as well as the other characters and I enjoyed the many relationships we are introduced to, particularly that of Ellie and her brother Jack.

There were a few factors that I didn't care for and I felt that the epilogue was a tad rushed (or perhaps I'm just greedy), but overall it was a great read. I look forward to the next book in the series and I'm anxious to see who it will be about.
