My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This third book in the series was quite different in terms of the storyline. I really enjoyed the slowly revealed background to Meg's life, her privacy and reluctance to let her friends in. Wesley was an interesting hero in this book, self-admittedly unscrupulous at time in business but deeply attracted to Meg. A great part of this book as with the others is the consistent thread of previous characters and their lives. Hunter, Everleigh, Sam and Griffen offer Meg the sense of family that she has never had.
The book initially had a slow pace but it built both in tension and depth as it progressed. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far and I'm glad to see that there will be a fourth and also an interconnected series on the way.
