REVIEWED By Micky Barnard
The Elite by Kiera Cass
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This second book in the selection series was all about push and pull. Various challenges are set for the five elite candidates left. The rebel war inches closely to the palace which is scary for all people based there. There is a lot for America to consider about whether she really wants the responsibility that the role of Queen would bring. Both America and Maxon are confused about their own feelings.
This was a great sequel that keeps you guessing. You get to understand the characters better in this book but the plot evades a definitive answer, leaving you needing Book 3.
The publisher provided a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
