My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Office Mate by Katie Ashley is a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Even the name of the lead is SEXY in this BOOK! Who doesn't like this type of books where we can have a sexy all-male American lead and a no-nonsense female who will give him a run for his money and keep him on his toes.
With plenty of political drama and lingo to keep you entertained and engrossed in the plot, this book is a breath of fresh air. Very well researched and carried out. The leads are well matched and their dialogues engaging, plus of course Katie provides the right amount of steam to keep things even more interesting.
After having to renounce to his military career, Thorn is forced to support his father's presidential appointment and so he is completely out of his league. He makes no secret of his predicament but perhaps seeing Isabel on a "daily" basis is the perk he needs in order to not lose the plot entirely. He makes it his mission almost to annoy her at every turn, but really is all sexual banter and the chemistry is explosive at times. I couldn't find anything not to like in Thorn even when he was trying to be obnoxious.

I appreciate the opportunity to read and review this book, and I thank the author for the Advanced Readers Copy.
