Most Valuable Playboy by Lauren Blakely

Most Valuable PlayboyMost Valuable Playboy by Lauren Blakely
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lauren Blakely does it again with MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. I don't think this woman ever sleeps. She is pushing out books like it is going out of style and I will tell you this: I WILL READ ANYTHING SHE WRITES.

At first, I was a bit skeptical. Falling for your friends little sister has been done before. On many occasions. But Blakely has put her unique spin on this trope and it exceeded all of my expectations and preconceived notions.

Cooper and Violet have known each other for years. Dating back to elementary school when he first moved to San Francisco. Cooper has always wanted to be a football player-so making it to the NFL was a no brainer for him or for the people who believed in him. What he was unaware of was his attraction to his best buds little sis, Violet. She has always been there on the sidelines (see how I did that?!) and has always been rooting for him.

When these two come together, FIRE IGNITES. Their chemistry is off the charts hot, and I feel like I have said this about all of Blakely MC's, but it's true. It's always true. She has a knack for making a reader fall for her characters. She is a magician when it comes to character development and growth and she is a pro when it comes to writing funny, charismatic, colourful story lines. I just can't seem to get enough!

The slow burn, the teasing, the kisses, OH THE KISSES!!! Who would have thought kissing and making out could be so sexy to read?! This book didn't focus so much on the end game (see what I did there?!) but on the journey getting to it. It was a pleasure to read the small things that make a relationship, and highlight a love story-it's not always about the SEX, and in this case, it wasn't-which was so refreshing. Don't get me wrong, the sex is SMOKING, but it was more about Cooper and Violet falling in love and the steps, truths and trust it took to get them there. Filled with Blakely's uncanny wit and hilarity, I am sure this book is going to be a best-seller.

Another hit for Blakely. Though I am not surprised, this girl is on FIRE!~
