Salvation At Sunset by Donalyn Maurer

REVIEWED BY Tina Shobe

Salvation At Sunset (A McGinty's of San Antonio Series Novel, Book 5)Salvation At Sunset by Donalyn Maurer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Salvation at Sunset is book 5 in the A McGinty's of San Antonio Series. Yes, this is part of a series but this book I think it can easily be a stand alone. Characters from the other books in the series due make appearances in this book.

Garrett has demons. Not only from war but from his upbringing. He's so afraid that once Bella knows everything that he'll lose her.

Bella is one very strong woman. The saying behind every good man is a strong woman would characterize Bella.

It is very interesting as the story unfolds how Garrett's family intermingled with Bella's in the past.

Donalyn covered and brought up two very hard topics in this book...PTSD and KKK. She did a very thorough job on both of these. Just reading the book I know neither topic was an easy one to research and bring to light.

She also has a great way of writing that I felt very invested in this story.

Great job Donalyn!!!
