YES, over and over. It was a beautiful story, yet heartbreaking. But it was real and it had so many steamy moments you would never have enough!.
Who was your favorite character and why?
That is a very difficult question, I found both male leads where as important as each other and although at times Colin can frustrate you (not in a bad way) as in the writer intended for this, you understand as you read on why he behaves the way he does and you can't help but feel for him in so many ways, so probably Colin, for what he went through.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
Well I loved seeing Daniel from the first book again, and loved the part when he comes to see Colin, their interaction is adorable and can I say Spencer did such an amazing job, in some parts there were 4/5 different characters in one room and he did all their voices brilliantly.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me cry most of the times. I actually cried more in this book than with the first one, there were so many powerful moments, so many things that weren't spoken and yet you felt each and every emotion.
Any additional comments?
The Author of these series has blown my mind. I actually thought it was going to be impossible to top of her first book, and don't get me wrong it was an incredible story, but this book, was cathartic, was very raw, honest and real and I feel I went on a journey with Colin and Rafe. Also can I say being Mexican and named Gabriela almost made me feel like I was part of their story.
ANOTHER HEARTBREAKINGLY SPECTACULAR BOOK.
Salvation has been one of my favourite books in The Protector series. I don't know if it's the vulnerability behind the characters, the build up passion between the leads or just the incredible storyline and extraordinary writing from Sloane Kennedy. All I know is that this Audio just brought to life a story which I already loved and made it even more special.
It is hard to choose a favourite character, is like having to pick between your kids! Both Seth and Ronan are beautiful characters, they each have endured so much suffering and loss that it is gratifying to see the story allowing them to get their HEA. In perfect Sloane way we are privy to a beautiful romance that is slowly been crafted through the pages of the book.
When I finished the Audio I was ready to message Joel and asked him if I could have his babies LOL but I refrained from the embarrassment and in order to avoid looking like a derange…
SIGH…… Simply beautiful. Cardeno C always delivers a romantic story that touches your heart, along with some steamy sexual encounters that leave you pining for more.
This is book three in the Hope series and can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading them all. They are too good not to read.
The story of Richard and Todd having a second chance at love. I don’t think they ever fell out of love. Their relationship they had in the past lacked serious communication which led to them splitting up.
Richard is a lot older than Todd, being a retired soldier and looking to settle down. He’s a good man, sexy, he’s the Sheriff of Hope town. He couldn’t help but be attracted to Todd, it was basically there on offer so why not have some fun. He grew to love Todd and wished that Todd felt the same way about him. He didn’t want to share Todd, but he wouldn’t stop him from having fun either.
I was completely transfixed with the story and transported into my own happy place.
The story of Holly and Tyler is one I will never forget and one that will always bring me hope on my darkest of days.
I know kids go missing every day everywhere and lately we have been bombarded by different stories of kids disappearing without a trace. However we have also seen stories of kids that have been missing and later found. It was like fate I had seen a program not long ago about a girl in America who vanished and later reappeared after being abducted for over fifteen years. Through the program we never saw the child (well now an adult) and truly grasp what could have been to have been away from her family, friends and everything that she knew before being taken. Well Carian has done that. She has gone into the mind of a girl who has gone through that ordeal and has built a story a…
