Dirty Like Me by Jaine DIamond

REVIEWED BY Becky Cox

Dirty Like Me (Dirty, #1)Dirty Like Me by Jaine Diamond
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jaine Diamond is new to me and I believe she will be taking the romance world by storm. Her writing gives you all the feels and pulls you in. I read books daily and its so great when you find an author that can grab your attention and hold it. Her characters are well developed and the story is intriguing. Yes, it is a rocker romance; and yes, that has been done before, but when it is done well, it doesn't matter.

Katie Bloom - I don't know why but her name makes me smile. Katie is recovering from a heartbreak. She is funny, quirky and gorgeous. She grows and matures emotionally through the book. Realizing so much about herself and her previous relationship.

Jesse, hot as sin rock star, is filming a music video for an upcoming album release and Katie is in the video and sparks fly. Cherry pie - Katie bakes them, when she is nervous. This made me laugh and brought up memories of the old Warrant song.

Jesse comes up with the plan after the video for Katie to be his fake girlfriend for the promotion of the new album. And so the fun begins.

I truly enjoyable fun read. A bit of angst for both characters and lots of laughs and hot hot hot personal contact.

Looking forward to reading more by Jaine Diamond in the future and watching her career progress.
