My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a very quick read but a very good book that packed all elements you look in this type of story.

J.J. Harper writes with ease and poise thus delivering a solid MM Romance.

When you suddenly realise the way you have lived your life was not the way it was supposed to be, everything changes. One night is all it took for Griff to open up his eyes into a world of new possibilities, he thought it had been a casual encounter but there was nothing casual about his attraction to Corrie. The morning after brings serious consequences and one man attempts to make things right whilst the other tries to protect the other's reputation, intentions get a bit lost and suddenly the life that Griff used to lead is no more, forcing him to take a leap of faith and a change in career. The move was supposed to be hard but never in a million years he thought to find the object of his obsession and endless sleepless nights. However Corrie can't escape some of the injuries from his past, his wounds are not only the physical kind but run deeper thus preventing him from trusting Griff's intentions. As they both get to spend some time together, revelations come to surface and from then a completely new level into their relationship develops, one will have to prove his worth and the other will have to leave the past behind and look into what the future can be.

I enjoyed this book so much, I gobbled it up in one seating, I liked the fact that it was very straight forward and although there was some drama it did not lingered on it and moved on at a perfect pace. The scenes between the leads were a perfect combination of sensual and romantic.
I would love to read more from this Author.
