My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I read this novella at the start of book 1 in the UnSocial Dater series. You don't need to read this for the series, but it will set the series up nicely for you and will give you more answers to Kat's personality. Or more specifically, why Kat is not a relationship type of girl. And a bit about her background as well.

This book starts with a young 18 year old Katherine being dropped off at Harvard for the start of her University years. She meets her roommates, Cecilia and Josie, and they decide the best way to get to know each other is to check out the local bar and also local talent! They are drunk, dancing and having a ball, which is what college is all about right?!! This first semester has its trials and tribulations for Kat, but even though she is the unsociable one, she knows she can rely on these girls.

This is a fun, quick read with some good LOL moments, but also a part where you just want to kick some butt! In my opinion, go for it!
