SIGH…… Simply beautiful. Cardeno C always delivers a romantic story that touches your heart, along with some steamy sexual encounters that leave you pining for more.

This is book three in the Hope series and can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading them all. They are too good not to read.

The story of Richard and Todd having a second chance at love. I don’t think they ever fell out of love. Their relationship they had in the past lacked serious communication which led to them splitting up.

Richard is a lot older than Todd, being a retired soldier and looking to settle down. He’s a good man, sexy, he’s the Sheriff of Hope town. He couldn’t help but be attracted to Todd, it was basically there on offer so why not have some fun. He grew to love Todd and wished that Todd felt the same way about him. He didn’t want to share Todd, but he wouldn’t stop him from having fun either.

Todd has a chance to show Richard how serious he is about him. He is determined not to let him down. When Todd moves into Richard’s as planned it’s a dream come true for him. They may not be a couple, but Todd lives in Hope. Oh! That’s a pun. Giggling face inserted here.

I always love picking up a book written by this Author. I know that I am in for an excellent adventure filled with love. I’m looking forward to reading so many more stories, not just about Hope, but all things Cardeno. C
