Knight's Nemesis by Misty Kayn

REVIEWED BY Becky Cox

Knight's Nemesis (Clementine Arer, #1)Knight's Nemesis by Misty Kayn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was wavering on my rating and the ending sent it up to 4 stars. There is a cliffy and the bit of confusion from Knight's Nemesis I feel will be cleared up in Clementine Arer #2.

Ms. Kayn's writing style is different and I enjoyed it. When the book ended I wanted a bit more. Clementine is a dove crossbreed with magical powers that she has attempted to hide. She sells flower lamps in the market to make a living. She enhances the flowers with magic to make them last longer.

Knight is the alpha of the Nightlanders and seeks Clementine's help to bring his second back under control.

Ms. Kayn's world is keep in balance by the Daylanders and the Nightlanders. There has been a shift in the balance, I believe due to Knight's second having gone rogue. Clementine must do what she can to return balance.

A great basis has been set for the next book. I look forward to seeing where Clementine's adventure leads us.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
