The Affair by Giana Darling

REVIEWED BY Lynette Kelly
4.5 Stars

Well what I thought I would hate about this book I totally ended up loving.  This story is about an affair, wrong in so many ways, but the writer has a very cleaver way of making you rethink the wrong.

Elle has packed up her life in France and is taking a well earned break before she goes back to the madness of her family in New York.  A nervous flyer, she comes across the most handsome man she has ever seen, who settles her nerves, and who ends up at the same holiday resort.  Sinclair is powerful, mysterious, handsome and has a partner at home, but Elle cannot get him out of her mind. After meeting again at the resort
Sinclair declares that he wants Elle for a week long affair, in which he struggles and waivers on doing the right thing and giving in to his desires with the gorgeous Elle.  He unleashes something within Elle and the result is some damn hot sex scenes.

The characters have wonderful complexity, Elle has had a troubled past that make her vulnerable, Sinclair is somewhat a mystery.
I would like to have read Sinclair's POV though out the story, maybe that's an idea for another book?  Here's hoping! An excellent read from this author, I am really looking forward to the next instalment.
