OMG what a start to what will surely be exceptional series. Ruthless King is the first book in the Mount Trilogy and if this was just the beginning, boy I can't wait to read the next two!

After being left with a HUGE debt by her late husband, Kiera is adamant on pulling all the stops and doing everything in her power to salvage her family business, a whiskey distillery, at all costs. Little did she know "doing everything" would include becoming Lachlan Mount's bargaining chip.

Lachlan truly embodies everything that the word "ruthless" describes. Having Keira on his sight, sets the wheel in motion for this book. However, Kiera is nothing like what he expects her to be, and she doesn't take any of his BS kindly, she knows her options are limited, but she wont be going quietly into the wolf's lair. Kara seems to push all of Lachlan's buttons, she riles him up thus building the tension between them. The sexual pent up is starting to build in this fist book and although Keira despises Mount, she can't help her body reacting to him.
At the moment we are in the push and pull stage, who will break first, remains and mystery.
