Ain't he Precious? by Juliette Poe

REVIEWED BY Kari Cox

Ain't He Precious? (Sex and Sweet Tea, #1)Ain't He Precious? by Juliette Poe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

He is, indeed, precious. I have personally witnessed a city slicker try to make it in a southern town and it was captured well in Ry and Trixie's story. Things are just done differently in a small town- from the people, to the activities, to the speed of life. I adore everything about a small town and enjoyed Whynot's atmosphere in this story. Speaking of the people - Pap's character is pretty great. It was rather unique to get an outsiders point of view in a traditional love story like this. I liked Trixe's parents part in the story. They're the epitome of a southern family. The story Trixie gives Ry on her parent's relationship was hilarious. The story in itself is funny, but I can just picture his reaction to it would have been even funnier. There were other funny parts of Ry and Trixie's story as well. It was a sweet, enjoyable read.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
