HIM by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy (Narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan)

REVIEWED BY Isa Jones

Him (Him #1)Him by Sarina Bowen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a fantastic Audio book and a very charming story.

Jamie and Ryan met at Hockey camp and have been the best of friends ever since their paths crossed. They have share laughters, mayhem and been each other sidekick in and out of the rink. They have had each other backs and have been there for each other when it mattered. However one game of DARE changes everything in their relationship and Ryan leaves Jamie without any further explanation.
Four years later destiny brings them together once more. As their paths cross one more time it gives the opportunity for Ryan to reach out and hopefully seek forgiveness from the way he left Jamie all those years ago.
Jamie has constantly asked himself what could have motivated Ryan from leaving the way he did. So when he is reunited with his long lost friend he is happy to have the opportunity to get some answers. Unfortunately timing is off and is not until later when Ryan shows up to be Jamie's coaching partner at the Hockey camp where it all began that answers and confessions start to come out. Soon Jaime is experiencing all this new feelings and begins to question his sexuality, being near Ryan is drawing him like a moth to a flame and soon sparks are flying.

Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan provided the voices for the characters and did a great job with transitions and were engaging providing the correct tones as their story intended. The steamy scenes between the leads where well delivered.
This has been the first book I have "read"/heard from these Authors and I am looking forward to finding out how the story of these two progresses in US.
