Stay (A Bleeding Stars Novel) by A.L. Jackson
REVIEWED BY Isa Jones
NARRATED BY Andi Arndt & Zachary Webber
"POWERFUL AND SO DAMN EMOTIONAL"
Would you listen to Stay again? Why?
YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES!. It is mesmerising, I got completely lost in the story, enthralled in the passion, drama and beautiful romance between the leads. Be still my beating heart I feel elated.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Stay?
There were so many magical moments. The first kiss between Ash and Willow had me almost combusting whilst I read, I was shaking with so much emotion. Every time the leads were together was a poetic moment.
What does Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
OMG I love Andi, I have listen to so many books narrated by her and she always makes each character her own, she brings all the passion and emotion that the Author is trying to transmit. Zachary was magnificent, his voice has a velvet characteristic but at the same time is filled with so much power, he reduced me to tears so many times in this book, I have to say he made it very special.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was and I did and I wish there was more. Sadly it is over.
Any additional comments?
A.L. Jackson has produced a heart-stopping, gut-wrenching and passion-filled story, with so many elements there were surprises along the way. She knows how to compel the reader and transport them to their world. This book was special and I loved every minute of it. Can't wait to read more from her!
Salvation has been one of my favourite books in The Protector series. I don't know if it's the vulnerability behind the characters, the build up passion between the leads or just the incredible storyline and extraordinary writing from Sloane Kennedy. All I know is that this Audio just brought to life a story which I already loved and made it even more special.
It is hard to choose a favourite character, is like having to pick between your kids! Both Seth and Ronan are beautiful characters, they each have endured so much suffering and loss that it is gratifying to see the story allowing them to get their HEA. In perfect Sloane way we are privy to a beautiful romance that is slowly been crafted through the pages of the book.
When I finished the Audio I was ready to message Joel and asked him if I could have his babies LOL but I refrained from the embarrassment and in order to avoid looking like a derange…
SIGH…… Simply beautiful. Cardeno C always delivers a romantic story that touches your heart, along with some steamy sexual encounters that leave you pining for more.
This is book three in the Hope series and can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading them all. They are too good not to read.
The story of Richard and Todd having a second chance at love. I don’t think they ever fell out of love. Their relationship they had in the past lacked serious communication which led to them splitting up.
Richard is a lot older than Todd, being a retired soldier and looking to settle down. He’s a good man, sexy, he’s the Sheriff of Hope town. He couldn’t help but be attracted to Todd, it was basically there on offer so why not have some fun. He grew to love Todd and wished that Todd felt the same way about him. He didn’t want to share Todd, but he wouldn’t stop him from having fun either.
I was completely transfixed with the story and transported into my own happy place.
The story of Holly and Tyler is one I will never forget and one that will always bring me hope on my darkest of days.
I know kids go missing every day everywhere and lately we have been bombarded by different stories of kids disappearing without a trace. However we have also seen stories of kids that have been missing and later found. It was like fate I had seen a program not long ago about a girl in America who vanished and later reappeared after being abducted for over fifteen years. Through the program we never saw the child (well now an adult) and truly grasp what could have been to have been away from her family, friends and everything that she knew before being taken. Well Carian has done that. She has gone into the mind of a girl who has gone through that ordeal and has built a story a…
