My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow two extremely hot brothers and one seriously lucky girl!
Calla a professional photographer has been hurt in the past. To trust someone is a gift so precious that when that trust is broken it ruins you for anyone else. An attempt to start a new chapter in her life puts her right in the path of Mr. hot and sexy Kyan, and when this encounter gives her a chance to be up close and personal with him who happens to be her new neighbour, never in a million years was she expecting to have the best sex of her life, but as fate had it, at the same time she comes face to face with someone from her past who she had a huge crush on; enters party animal and ladies man Hunter. What Calla didn't count on was for Hunter to admit he also had a crush on her. Things get heated up very fast and soon lines between casual and serious begin to be crossed. But Kyan has also been betrayed by those who once he hold dear to his heart, so he has built this fortress around his heart with the sole purpose to avoid being hurt; unfortunately in matters of the heart no matter how strong or big the fortress is, walls will crumble if it finds the one.
This was a surprise read, and I loved it. It was immaculately written and it has everything you want in a romance book. Few twists and great dialogues. I devoured this book in one sitting.

Scenes from Adelaide Road by Helena Stone
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
Scenes from Adelaide Road by Helena Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Before I start my review let me just say that if anyone is being BULLIED for the choices they have chosen in this life, take a stand, you are NOT alone in this world. You may feel that no one will accept you or fight for you. They will, we will. Trust will not come easily but wouldn't you rather try than live a life that makes you completely miserable?
This book literally awakened deep feelings in me that came out through tears and anger but also smiles of joy. I connected with this story on such a profound level that I am finding it hard to explain why, considering I am a heterosexual woman and have not had to deal with such things as bullying because I was GAY.
Lennart is a young man that has suffered immensely in silence his whole life. His father not only a very ignorant man but the worst kind of bully. Physical abuse is painful enough for the victim who is being submitted to being punched, kicked, and his bones broken. It is all horrendous to think someone is living with this but emotional abuse can sometimes be so much worse. Imagine never knowing the love of a parent, constantly feeling worthless from such a young age. Having no one to turn to because of the constant fear that seeking help would just make your life more unbearable. Not a pretty picture, is it?
Lennart has the chance to have a new life away from his father and the home town that made his life a living hell. A grandfather he never even knew existed has passed away and left his home to his only grandson, Lennart. He's completely scared to death but excited at the prospect of being able to do as he chooses. Lennart believes himself to be a coward, ugly and so many other things which didn't portray the way I saw him, and thankfully neither did a young man called Aiden.
Aidan a beautiful man inside and out. His heart is as big as the ocean. He has seen something in Lennart and is desperate to know more. Thank you God for that because anyone that has suffered like Lennart needs a man or woman like Aidan to help them see clearly, see what they see not what has been drilled into them their whole life. Aidan is a hard working man, he has great family support. He's so loveable. I wanted to hug him through the pages for correcting Lennart on so many things. I was thinking the same things as Aidan was while reading.
Lennart and Aidan form a wonderful friendship that evolves into a heartwarming romance. The kind that makes you smile and melts your heart. I felt like I not only read the story but actually watched these scenes.
Everything I felt, all the emotions were very real. This book that held such an intense story came to life and that can only be because this writer is magnificent. It was inspiring and breathtaking. I have never read anything by this Author but I can assure you, I will definitely be looking for more titles now.

Flying Solo by Susan Mac Nicol

5 FLYING STARS
The Men of London Series Book Six. This can be read as a standalone but oh boy this series has been super awesome and I recommend reading them all. Of course, I have my favourites but every new book has a fascinating story that keeps you wanting more.
This book is Maxwell and Gibson story. It's a high flyer for sure. Both characters equally appealing but yet both have very different personalities.
They say opposites attract and then if you are too alike you clash, hmm! What to believe because although they lead completely different lifestyles they have both done their fair share of bed hopping. I think fate brought these two guys together, okay maybe the writer did LOL! but she can totally make me a believer in her stories.
Maxwell AKA Max had the toughest start in life. Really that's an understatement. He did things he's not proud of but giving the circumstances, I think anyone would have done the same. He now travels around the world working as a flight attendant looking after passengers. His life is okay but he's looking for more, for that one guy to come home to. These one night stands and quickies in the toilet just aren't enough anymore.
Gibson, a gaming genius has to travel a lot and spots the gorgeous Max. Need I say more?. Another couple who are officially in the mile high club. Honestly I am never going to get on this list, so high five to anyone who does HAHA!! Gibson never dates the same man twice or has more than one encounter. Gibson is the whip it out, lick it and whip it in and never to be repeated kind of guy, that was until Max came to his defence one night.
With both feet firmly on the ground, these two guys became friends with almost benefits, but Max wanted more out of life. Such a shame Gibson wasn't on the same page as he was. What the heart wants the heart must have, no one knows when love will come your way, but when it does you have to grab it with both hands and grab a hold of it. Max and Gibson need each other whether they want to admit it or not.
This was another fantastic read and another two men to add to my collection. Oh actually make that three because Gibson has a best friend called Jack and he's a great character, witty, loving, sexy and he's not gay. YAY! but alas he is dating a wonderful woman who also cares deeply for Gibson.
I highly recommend this book. It has a story which shows both sides. The man who has nothing and no one and the man who has almost everything but has fantastic support from his family and friends and that can make a huge difference to someone's life. Choices have to be made, right or wrong it's the individuals decision what path they take in life. Love is love people, the sooner you all realise this, the better.

Maybe Baby by Kim Golden
Maybe Baby by Kim Golden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book engaged me from the first page and was a different take on other thirty-something women wanting a baby narratives. The storyline went a completely different direction than what I expected; it was fresh and unpredictable. The book centres on Laney, a black, American woman in Sweden. Laney was likable as a character, but I felt she was disempowered in her relationship with Niklas. Even though Laney and Niklas had been together five years, Laney didn't seem to have much say in daily life operations. This was a contrast with her busy work life where she seemed in control. Niklas was a character I just couldn't like. He seemed a little devious and lacked investment in the relationship. Niklas' relationship with his ex made me irritated beyond belief.
There's another man in this story. Mads is a Dane and the description of him was immediately enticing but as I got to know him, it was his personality and interactions that made him ultimately attractive. Laney in Mads' company was a woman freed and her personality shone through.
The book had a number of elements that worked for me, it was unpredictable, slightly forbidden, a little angsty but with plenty of hope. The relationships had great heat but it didn't feel like the key focus of this book and I felt the balance of this was just right as the story line was meaty and real.
This book was set between Sweden and Denmark and I enjoyed the setting. My mother is Scandanavian, so I could picture visually some aspects of the story but I think any reader would engage with the setting. It was a nice change from the US or the UK.
I'm looking forward to reading the next books in the series and I have found a new author I like.

Smart Girl by Rachel Hollis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars
This was a cute, funny read. It is my first venture into Rachel Hollis' writing and there are lots of things I enjoyed about it. This is book three in the series but considering I haven't read the others, this stands alone well. I can gather from Smart Girl who the other books were about but I didn't feel left behind by missing information.
Miko, the lead female character is a lovely mixture of quirky, warm, kind and a little off the wall. She's a talented designer for event planning and busy furthering her business. She's had a full-on desperate crush on Liam for about a year, this crush is something any woman can identify with, but it felt a little teenage in some aspects. Liam is described so that I did feel the pull of his attractiveness and understood Miko being besotted, but actually the more I got to know him, the less I liked him. As the story progressed, there were elements of Liam that totally frustrated me, neither could I respect Miko for her persistent tolerance of some of these issues.
The writing was fun, witty and stronger in the first 60% than later on. The book and writing is perfect for when you are in the mood for a light, easy read. I enjoyed this read and I'll definitely be looking out for more from Rachel Hollis.

Wild Games by Mila Rossi

Wild Games by Mila Rossi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wild games is a short but very good read. Becca is a scientist and is given the opportunity to study plant life in Costa Rica. She is super excited about the trip. Along comes Matt, the security officer/guide for the trip.
These two immediately strike sparks off each other. I think they bicker so much because they are fighting off their attraction. Doesn't help that they end up being room mates. A lot of sexual tension there.
Poor Becca has one bad thing after another happen on her adventure and Matt is always there to help her out. Which I think also lends to her being so crabby sometimes. Personally I think she doesn't know how to handle the attraction and her feelings for Matt and when there is another team mate 'wanting' his attention it doesn't help matters. I give Matt big kudo's for his patience.
I personally liked this book but do wish there was a little more background on Matt just because I'm intrigued to know why someone would take jobs providing security in a foreign country.

Sweet Addiction: A Romantic Comedy by L.J. Scar

Hayden is completely out of her depth at a housing/business auction. She is there on behalf of a coworker to bid on a business. She doesn't win the bid on the business but does win a bid on a house, site unseen. I can so see myself doing the same thing...getting caught up in the moment and a little shell shocked when it's all over with.
Beck is at the same auction and is enjoying himself watching Hayden. He also happens to live across the street from the house Hayden won and knows it's very intriguing past.
Hayden's plan is to fix up the house and flip it. Beck and Grant, his business partner business is flipping houses.
Hayden starts right in working on the yard and inside the house. Beck is right there trying to help/guide her.
When you add in men visiting due to the past history of the house, Hayden's brother's and the predicaments Hayden lands herself in with her inexperience in house flipping it makes this a funny, heart warming book.
I could of done without Beck's sister, Tess As of right now I'm not a big fan of hers (though I think her own relationship issues played into her bitterness) and I give Hayden kudo's for not slugging her at least once.
I loved both Hayden and Beck. She seems like a very sweet person and Beck comes across as solid as a rock.
I'm intrigued to see if there is going to be another book about Tess and Ro, Hayden's brother. They seem to have some underlying sparks.
This is the first book I have read by LJ Scar and to say she has gained a new fan is an understatement.

Dodgy Dates and a Dinosaur by Elizabeth Ball
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sophie has been single for 3 years raising her son. She was dumped by her fiance' and father of her son just months before their wedding for another woman.
Her friends, family have been trying to get her to get back out into the dating field and when she gets an invite to her sister wedding with a plus one also included she decides to get back out there.
We follow along with her on blind dates set ups from her friend to dates set up through a dating online site. All of them bad. You add in a boss she can't please and this poor girl can't get a break.
I think I would of given up but she keeps going and when she gives up is when she might actually have found the one.
Personally I think that when Sophie's ex left her it damaged her self esteem and through this book she finally is 'regaining' herself.
It did take me a little bit to get into this book but once I did I really liked it.

Uniquely Mine: A Fitz Series by Theresa Sederholt

Detective Fitzgerald Rodriguez (Fitz) is investigating a string of murders that ends up being the work of a serial killer that spans 3 cities.
This book takes place in New York and it is described so well that I felt like I was living there.
Fitz grew up being part of the Justice family and when their daughter Makenna ends up being the serial killers ultimate target he works overtime trying to protect her and the family.
Makenna has been in love with Fitz for a very long time and through this book Fitz opens up and lets Makenna in, realizing he also has loved her for just as long.
It's a fight to the end to see if they are going to have a future together.
The characters in this book are subscribed so well I felt that I knew them all.
This book is super intense. It has been a long time since a book intrigued me so much. I didn't want to put it down and it took everything I had not to skip to the end to see how everything played out.
I absolutely loved this book! Very well done, Theresa Sederholt! I'm a fan of yours for life!

The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley

This book was recommended to me by a number of friends but I read the blurb and just thought, this is totally not my kind of thing at all. Parallel universe? Magic? No. I also read a few reviews disliking some minor scenes. Anyway, curiosity got the better of me and I read the first few pages and thought, I HAVE to know what happens. Long story short, I need to be more open minded about stepping into other genres because this was a stunning read. It had all the richness of a contemporary KA book but with a twist in the setting. For me, this was like reading the setting of native Americans a few centuries ago and it worked so well.
Circe was a woman of adaptability, strong, kind, stubborn but with a big heart. She was plunged into a place of unrecognisable and primitive culture and she rallied. The man of mans in this book is Lahn, I went through Hate, love, hate, love with this man. He was a character I'll remember because he was unique in all ways but so compelling. The electricity between these two could power a town.
Language is a big deal in this book. Words and their meaning were not taken for granted. This was an aspect to the story I loved. I looked forward to the few translations at the end of each chapter and as time passed, I knew some of the common words. How Circe and Lahn connected over, through and despite language was just beautiful, funny and brought great frustration at times.
I am of the opinion that Kristen Ashley can do little wrong. She has abounding versatility, can write in multiple genres so well, but still keep her style that let's you know it is a KA book you're reading. I now have a new series of hers to go at which makes me very pleased and I look forward to more from Fantasyland. Never say never!

The Baller: A Down and Dirty Football Novel by Vi Keeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A BESTSELLER INDEED!!!!
This book was EPIC, I know it is not a very formal word to describe a book perhaps, but if you want a broader explanation of the word here goes:
According to Merriam-Webster the definition of EPIC is:
1. telling a story about a hero or about exciting events or adventures
2. very great or large and usually difficult or impressive
1: of, relating to, or having the characteristics of an epic
2a : extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope
b : heroic
ep·i·cal play \-pi-kÉ™l\ adjective
ep·i·cal·ly play \-pi-k(É™-)lÄ“\ adverb
Well this story and its leads are ALL that.
Brody Easton is indeed EPIC, he is big, he is fast, he is panty-dropping hot, he is one of the best in his field and he has a heart of GOLD. You see as a leading sportsman he has the attention of any girl, he knows he can probably get any woman he wants to sleep with him at any given time and place, however there is only one woman who has completely caught his full attention, but as it goes, she is the only one who doesn't want him; or does she?
Delilah Maddox is a sportscaster, Football is in her blood and she knows the industry inside and out. She has worked hard to achieve recognition for being good at her job and not because of her connections to the sport. The last thing she was expecting that day as she walked into the changing rooms to interview some of the players was coming face to face with mr EPIC himself and his "cough" epic attribute. Brody thought the bold move would land him in Delilah's bed but instead he landed flat on his face after being epically rejected. This only fuels his interest and his determination to getting to know the woman behind the mic.
As the story develops we are gradually seeing these two characters embark on a wild chase of cat and mouse. This is all new territory for Brody who is used to getting his way and past relationships
make both insecure of giving themselves to each other wholeheartedly. Layers start to come off and truths begin to surface and we are rewarded with an addictive plot. But both Delilah and Brody hide so much baggage that in order for them to completely learn to be together they must first learn to let go of their past.
Fast paced, funny, sexy and a brilliantly written story line make The Baller a favourite book amongst Contemporary Romance readers. However anyone in search of an EPIC book should read it NOW!!

Harley's Achilles by Sandrine Gasq-Dion
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
OH WHAT A FANTASTIC STORY THIS WAS!!!!
This book has become a favourite amongst fans of the M/M genre, and after rapidly climbing the charts on it's day of release, it was not surprise to see it grabbing the #1 ranking place in the Gay Erotica and Gay Romance Genre bestseller list.
This is the first book I've read from Author Sandrine Gasq-Dion and I was so pleased to have discovered her. A total page turner, with a solid story and well crafted characters, Harley's Achilles is the 3rd book in the Rock Series but it can be read as a standalone.
Harley seems to have everything a rock star could ever want; the money, the fame and the women, however, wanting and needing are too very different things, and as we embarked on this epic journey we very soon discover that what Harley really needs comes in a completely different form. Enters Achilles, beautiful and strong, he has been working for Harley's as his personal security detail. He has seen Harley on a downward spiral for far too long and is finding it harder and harder to resist the emotions which have been harbouring deep within his soul. He can't seem to understand why someone who seem to have it all just can't be content.
Both men have been very good at masking and hiding the pain and suffering life has thrown at them, for Achilles as a former Delta Force Leader was the loss of his entire team and of his first love and well for Harley has been the death of his brother and the constant negligence and lack of attention from his parents. Neither men was prepared to put their emotions on the line, Harley hasn't felt worthy of being properly loved and has never really open up to anyone, the only person who he was able to confide on has been taken from him. So when fate intervenes allowing both to learn about each other, Harley and Achilles weren't expected to put their feelings and fears to the test.
With fantastic dialogues, plenty of steamy scenes and a great story line this has been a thoroughly enjoyable read.
I have downloaded the first 2 books in the series because I am completely hooked!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Defenseless is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the other books in the series but truly enjoyed Defenseless with no problems.
It is a great military romance with some unexpected twist. I love a strong female character and Charlie definitely fills the role. She is sassy, funny, calculating and a bad ass.
Mark is all virile male. His is a retired Navy Seal working in the private sector. He is generally loved by his group of friends and co-workers. Always quick with a joke and just as quick to lend a hand.
Put these two together and it is like an atom bomb. Their banter is beyond entertaining and the sexy time is so very hot.
"Assert your bullshit idea of dominance? Because you're going to see really quickly that I'm always on top. I'll top you even from the bottom, princess. You should get use to it."
This is my first Corinne Michaels book and I love her writing style. Her sense of humor is awesome and she can write a sex scene (fans self). Above all of that is an intricate plot of mystery and deceit. It is woven expertly with the romance and keeps you turning pages. Military lingo and expertise flows naturally throughout the story.
She turns her head to face me and lifts her lips. The words that come from her mouth go straight to my groin. "Don't be afraid to to pull the trigger next time, princess." Charlie's eyes glimmer, and I know right then that this woman will not be owned, but she sure as shit will own me."
Great read that I would highly recommend!

This book was so many things rolled into one sexy 'package'; we had so much humor, a ridiculously cocky quarterback, and a hot-shot sports reporter. Fabulous combination that worked perfectly together with Keeland's clever writing.
Brody is such a sexy, cocky, dirty, sweet character who gives really good banter. And Delilah (freaking love her name) who has worked damn hard to get her reporting position in a male dominated field gives just as good as she gets. The chemistry between the two is hot and delicious and I couldn't get enough of them. A down and dirty football novel, you ask? Why yes. Yes, yes it is. Looking forward to more books in this series.
I was smiling throughout most of this book and I was very surprised to shed tears at one point. I don't know if that part just hit far too close to home, but it is what it is.
Great book and great writing. Definitely recommended.

This book was a story about Jenesis moving to a new city for a new beginning and falling in love. She makes friends along the way, including David, whom takes it upon himself to look after her and become her father figure. The story has different twists and leaves with a mystery as to what is happening next.
I had a hard time connecting with this book. I couldn't get a read on the characters. Their personalities went back and forth too much for my taste. David would be a terrible guy, a good guy, a father figure, to a mean old man. Thomas was supposed to be the great love of her life, but I struggled getting that feeling when he's being crazy possessive and acting with behaviors of an abuser. I couldn't get pulled into the book like I would have liked because I felt it was bouncing around too much, but the story is unique and I think Jenesis's story has potential to provide more.
I think some of the things I couldn't make sense of may be answered in the second book, which I have not read yet, so I'm optimistic about what is to come!

Sprinkled by Gina LaManna
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Sprinkled by Gina LaManna
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sprinkled is a light fun read. I giggled more than once and smiled pretty much the entire book. Lacey is forever getting herself into trouble. Her inner dialogue is hilarious.
Although the premise of the book is heavy the story itself is very lighthearted.
Lacey's mom ran from her family and supported Lacey and herself by stripping. After her death Lacey searches out the Family. She discovers her grandfather is the head of the Italian mob. He gives her a few assignments to earn money because he believes in earning your money not just having it handed to you.
These assignment send Lacey on her accident prone, trouble finding journey.
Lacey's best friend Meg is word vomit funny. You never know what is going to come out of her mouth and it is generally inappropriate.
Sprinkled and Lacey will bring a smile to your face at the end of a crappy day. Recommended to any reader looking for a fun read.

Leap Of Faith by ML Rodriguez
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Leap of Faith by ML Rodriguez
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 Rating
Faith meets the love of her life at 17 and marries him at 18. Jake is in the military and a single father. A few into their marriage she loses Jake. Not much explanation what happened to him until later in the book.
Leap of Faith goes back and forth between present and past, giving us the back story a little at a time.
Faith is lucky enough to find another love years after Jake's death in Zane, a local fireman, who is ex-military. There are several large leaps in time that are skimmed over.
Rodriquez gives us several interesting twist and leaves the ending opening for the next book in the series with no real cliffhanger which is nice.
I struggled with the writing and some of Faith's inner dialogue wasn't really believable or relate-able. Overall Faith is an impressive character in overcoming losing her husband and raising her step-daughter.
Leap of Faith had great potential and with a little work could be a great series.

Sebring by Kristen Ashley
REVIEWED BY Micky Barnard
Sebring by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Sebring
I can't necessarily put my finger on what one thing captured me about this book but it totally reeled me in. From the opening page to the last word, I was utterly mesmerised. This series has built and improved book by book and I'm truly sad it's complete.
Nick Sebring and Olivia Shade are strong, well developed characters but I can wholeheartedly say that Olivia stole the show for me. She evoked admiration and empathy from me, I wanted so much for her but three things stuck out. I wanted her to be able to smile, to be able to love of her chosing and for her to be free. I was a little apprehensive about Nick after his behaviour in Knight, despite the occurrences in Creed but I need not have worried. He's a man on a mission but he's not the selfish, unscrupulous man anymore.
The heat in this book erupted early and these two together were good to read. Kristen Ashley never leaves you feeling like you've read it all before. Her relationships and steam aren't formulaic, so I never quite know what to expect nor am I disappointed.
Each previous unfinished hero features in this finale and it's good to catch a glimpse of their lives and loves. What set off on a personal rocky start with book one, turned into a most beloved series.

Your Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen
REVIEWED BY Micky Barnard
Your Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I'm a huge fan of Layla Hagen's Withering Hope. Your irresistible love was a different type of read but thoroughly enjoyable. I do enjoy an office setting for relationships and this book delivered well on that theme. There's little better than office tension, non-fraternization policies and two attracted co-workers trying to stay away from one another.
Ava was a strong, independent woman employed as a marketing consultant. I liked her, she was all about business but struggled with her immediate attraction to Sebastian. Sebastian was the CEO but I didn't find this to be a cliché situation. He was less arrogant than expected, open to being attracted to Ava and what it might bring. I found him to be very charming. Their story felt fairly fresh, interesting and the sexual tension was well written; it kept my attention. I particularly liked the back drop of the Bennett family and I can see that there are the makings of some really good future stories with these Bennett siblings.
The author provided a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Harley's Achilles by Sandrine Gasq-Dion
REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney
Harley's Achilles by Sandrine Gasq-Dion
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Whey hey!! I have just found myself a new Author and vice versa, Sandrine has just found herself a new fan. I am pleased beyond words that I downloaded this book and quite frankly, I devoured it, page turning by the seconds. I sucked up this story like a vacuum. You think I liked it? I didn't, I loved it.
This is book three in The Rock Series and although I hadn't read the first two, I just had to read and see what all the fuss was about. Rest assured I know exactly what readers are banging on about. I am so in love with these characters, I feel like I should be hunting them down. They seem to do a lot of hunting as well by all accounts. You just know I am gong to read book one and two.
Harley Payne a wild, fun loving young man, youngish, old enough to know better but young enough to still enjoy himself to the max. He has had his fair share of troubles, maybe that is putting it a little too mildly. He lost his brother, the only one he held so dear, the only one within close family that loved him with everything he had. Sure Harley has some fabulous loving friends but he longed to have a mother and father that loved him. I just don't know how they didn't, he is such a fantastic guy.
Harley is in a band with a great bunch of guys, they are all really close and are definitely there for one another. Most of them are Gay, not all have partners. Harley believed himself to be a little bisexual, well until he realised how completely lush his bodyguard was. How he hadn't pounced on that man before now is beyond me. I would of ate that man alive the second he walked in my room but alas he's gay, not a chance in turning that man around. My hopes are dash, my heart is broken.
Achilles the drop dead gorgeous adonis of a bodyguard is completely dedicated to his job, protecting Harley is all that matters and not just protecting him from hurting himself or from crazy fans, no he doesn't want anyone to hurt his man emotionally. Did I just say his man, oops I did, well what can I say clearly I believed he was his. Achilles is the type of man everyone would want by their side. He's so powerful and dangerous so you'd definitely want to keep him on side.
Life never runs smoothly, well that would just be to easy. Where is the fun in everything being handed to you on a plate. These guys are in for a bumpy ride that's for sure but if a love is meant to be and strong enough it can overcome almost anything.
Such a passionate and sexy read. This story was indeed just that, a fantastic story, not all sex but enough teasing to keep us all hanging in there with bated breath. I can honestly say, I am really looking forward to reading more by this Author and would recommend this book to all lovers of M/M Romance.

Release!: A Walker Brothers Novel by J.S. Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Release! By JS Scott
This is another great, quick, and sexy read from JS Scott!
This is Trace and Eva's story. We briefly met Trace in Billionaire Undone and I was intrigued by him and eager to learn his story. And we meet Eva when she approaches Trace for a job within his company but gets more than what she was hoping for.
I've always enjoyed Scott's writing style and Release is no exception. I really liked the characters and thought their background stories were interesting. I loved Eva's candor and found it refreshing. The chemistry between Trace and Eva is scorching! I'm very much looking forward to Dane and Sebastian's books.
The Walker Brothers series is a spinoff of The Billionaires Obsession series and can be read as a standalone.

Miranda's Rights by Lily Luchesi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Miranda's Rights is my first Lily Luchesi book.
It is paranormal romance with lots of mystery. Danny Mancini is a retired detective. He lost his fiance' 26 years ago in an apparent mugging gone wrong.
After being attacked by werewolves and a narrow escape Danny, who is human, heads back to the Paranormal Investigative Division for help. He wasn't expecting his dead fiance to make an appearance. Things get interesting from there.
Miranda's Rights is fast paced and action packed. This is the second in book published by Ms. Luchesi. I haven't read the first in this series, but it didn't deter from my enjoying this book.
Angelica is half human and half vamp and Danny's former wife. She runs the Paranormal Investigative Division. She still loves Danny but respects his decision to not be with her.
Ms. Luchesi gives us vampires, werewolves and witches in an explosive and action packed story.

Wicked Lust by Sawyer Bennett
REVIEWED BY Melinda Lazar
Wicked Lust by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wicked Lust by Sawyer Bennett
This book is a scorcher of a read! I've read all of Bennett's books and am a huge fan of hers. This series is a bit of a departure from her previous books as its centered around a sex club. A downright dirty sex club that could fulfill any fantasies one might have, so certain scenes may not appeal to all.
I read this right on the back of Wicked Fall and while that book fell a little short for me, Wicked Lust definitely redeems the series.
I thought the characters were interesting enough: Cain being the Head of Security at The Wicked Horse and Sloane being an undercover political reporter. They certainly made for interesting and (insanely) steamy reading. Both have secrets that eventually come to light and it's not pretty when they do.
I really can't wait for Bridger's story but in the meantime, I'll be satisfied with Rand! This can be read as a standalone.

A Lover's Lament by K.L. Grayson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A Lover's Lament by KL Greyson & BT Urruela
I enjoyed so much of this book. Both of these authors are new to me and I was a little apprehensive about reading a book written by a cover model. I mean, what would a cover model know about writing a book, right? Umm wrong. So very, very wrong.
This is a really beautiful second- chance romance which is rekindled via a soldier pen-pal program. As a result, there is a lot of military talk and frankly, I enjoyed that. It gives us the tiniest bit of insight (because I don't believe for a second we even touched on the atrocities these soldiers experience) into what soldiers go through, their feelings, their hearts.
I felt more of a connection with Devin's character and for me this meant that I really enjoyed reading from his point of view while somewhat skimming Katie's chapters.
This is definitely a great read overall and one I recommend.

An Ounce of Hope by Sophie Jackson
We first met Max in A Pound of Flesh and frankly, I wasn't a fan of his. He is/was an addict and didn't care for himself, much less anyone else. I had this book on preorder as I was curious to see how Jackson would redeem this character and I'm thrilled to say that she did so beautifully.
Max and Grace are both complex characters who have been through the wringer and survived, if just barely. Grace is such a strong woman who deals with her fears head-on and you can't help but love and admire her for it. And Max, although I had a few instances where I could've given him a smack, is truly, despite his faults, a sweet, gentle, and generous man and I may have fallen a little in love with him.
I can't wait for Riley's story and I hope Tate gets one, too. That's a not-so-subtle hint to the author!
This book picks up right where we left off with A Pound of Flesh and I would definitely read the books in order.

Big Rock by Lauren Blakely
REVIEWED BY Melinda Lazar
Big Rock by Lauren Blakely
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Big Rock by Lauren Blakely.
5 Green Gummy Bear Stars
There is absolutely NOT ONE SINGLE THING that I didn't love about this book. Blakely had me laughing from the first page to the last-in fact, I can't remember the last time I had a permanent smile on my face from the start till the end of a book.
Spencer and Charlotte are both insanely likable characters and both are so easy to relate to. They're best friends - and have only ever been best friends - who own a business together until Spencer needs Charlotte to play a role in order to help his family business. Watching (or in this case, reading) the developments was just perfection: the book has funny moments, sexy moments, and sweet, touching moments. It's my new favorite from Blakely and one of my favorite reads of 2015.
The entire story is told from Spencer's POV and he is hilarious. Seriously. I have to say that one thing I particularly enjoyed was Spencer's relationship with his family. For some reason, you don't often see a close-knit family dynamic particularly pertaining to male main characters so this was really great to see. I also really enjoyed the secondary characters; I can't wait for Nick's story and I'm hoping that Harper gets one too!
I haven't been able to find a friends-to-lovers story that truly enthralled me for a very long time but Blakely has ended that hiatus for me, and brilliantly.
This is a standalone novel that I cannot recommend enough for those who love romcoms and/or friends-to-lovers romance.

Kulti by Mariana Zapata
I'm quite partial sports romance stories and Kulti also incorporates older man/younger woman, as well as coach and player. Tick, tick, and tick again.
Sal is faced with her teen-crush coming to coach her women's football (or soccer) team. Unfortunately, her idol has a personality which leaves much to be desired. But Sal is certainly not one to take it lying down and I absolutely loved her fiery side. Kulti himself is an interesting character! I want to dislike him, because he was a bit of an ass, yet I really can't help but genuinely like him; he's fierce, he's honest, he's incredibly generous, and he just doesn't give a damn.
This was a great read by a new-to-me author. I enjoyed the banter between the characters and found myself smiling throughout while I also appreciated the serious undertones. There were two things I had issues with and they are that given the nature of Kulti's past with Sal's brother, I feel that something should have rounded that off and I also got a little annoyed with constantly referring to Kulti as 'The German'. That got tedious pretty quickly. Otherwise this was pretty good and I'd recommend it to those who love sports romance and don't mind a slow build to sexy action.

F*ck Love by Tarryn Fisher
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
F*ck Love by Tarryn Fisher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4.5 Stars
Tarryn Fisher has her own style of writing. I feel like if I was blindfolded and was read passages I could probably pick hers out.
F*ck Love is a different side of her. Every book she gives us is a piece of her in some way and this one is no different; it is just a different side of her.
Helena falls in love, hard, just not with her boyfriend. Kit is someone else's boyfriend. Off limits right? I mean, he is dating her best friend. Helena tries to do the right thing until she falls off the rails and takes a different approach.
I connected with this story right from the beginning. I want to scream at the young ladies and tell them that if you find that one...and God you will know it when you do, don't let anything get in your way to get him and hold on for dear life. You don't want to be old looking back and thinking, what if. Living half a life is not living, it's existing.
Every Fisher book I read connects with something inside, something that we try to hide. She digs in and finds it and pulls it out so we have to evaluate it. Sometimes its awesome, sometimes it hurts.
F*ck Love was a great read. I wanted something epic at the end and I didn't feel it even though the entire book was amazing. Maybe there was a hint of something epic to come. I think yes.

Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
How have I never read a Rebecca Yarros book before? I don't know, but I have been missing out.
Full Measure is December (Ember) Howard's story of surviving the loss of her military father and finding life beyond. Josh Walker, Ember's high school crush, hockey star and gorgeous womanizer is there to help her by being her "whatever." Josh has a secret that may tear them apart.
I picked this book because I book friend posted that she was crying in the first chapter. I am a sucker for a heartbreak so of course I had to one-click it. Yep, Rebecca got me in the first chapter.
I am a military brat so I could relate to Ember and her reaction to the death of her father and her future plans. How needing order in your life is in direct relation to having no control over your life as a child of a military parent. Or maybe I am just weird. Possible.
Full Measure is well written and grabs you from page one. I cried, laughed and cheered. I loved Ember's relationship with her little brother Gus. Gus was written true to his age and you can't help but love him.
Josh has his secrets that he hides for the sake of his relationship with Ember. Josh is sweet at all the right times and a bad ass when needed.
Great book and I look forward to reading more in this series.

5 Knicker Licking STARS
This book was....... Great, Funny, Loving, adventurous, exciting. WAIT! I have more, it was Exceptional, Hilarious, Sexy, Gripping, Mind Blowing. Okay I think that should cover it, I am sure you get the idea. I LOVED IT!!
Want to hear about this story? Sorry I can't tell you it's a secret. Just kidding. This is book four in the awe inspiring BB Series. You can read the novella's in between these four books and my suggestion is that you do. I believe it always helps to build a bigger picture helping the reader connect to all the characters and oh boy! have I met some fantastic characters.
This is Naill 'TENSE' Stella's story. God this man brings a whole new meaning to the word uptight but by reading this book you begin to understand why. Niall is the younger brother of Max Stella another sensational character in this series.
Niall now divorced, THANK GOD! has never dated, never paid any interest to another woman, actually I don't think he has even given any kind of thought to seek out some female affection.
Ruby Miller a very bold fun loving girl, well not always so bold. She has one serious crush on Niall and becomes a teenager around him. In her eyes he's the ultimate male adonis. Clearly she sees a dark wild horse hiding under his suits, oh and he wears a suit so well. Tall, strong, lean, beautiful. Yep, now I see why she drools a lot.
Ruby is sent away on a business trip with her male adonis. One whole month just her and her fantasies. What will happen? Ha! Never one to disappoint, Christina Lauren know how to tell a page turning story. These ladies have found so many ways for the female characters to become knickerless it should be a crime. Maybe we should ask for the next female to not bother wearing any. Hmm! no scrap that it's much more fun reading about them being ripped off, pulled down, bitten off, licked off etc, etc LOL!
What happens when they return home makes me so mad and honestly I felt sadness for both of them. It's always a thrill being away from home and sharing time with someone but then reality hits when returning to the life you have led before and not everyone shares your happiness. The only character I didn't like in this book was Ruby's boss, Anthony Smith is a slime ball, enough said about him.
I can't wait for more in this series. If you haven't read yet, I totally recommend you start ASAP. You won't regret downloading these books.
Books in the series are in order:
Beautiful Bastard
Beautiful Stranger
Beautiful Bitch
Beautiful Bombshell
Beautiful Player
Beautiful Beginning
Beautiful Beloved
Beautiful Secret
Beautiful Boss (releasing 29th Feb 2016) Available to pre-order.

Damaged by J.L. Perry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I have not read the first two in the Destiny series. It did not effect my enjoyment of this book.
Jacinta "Jazzi" is a young lady from an abusive childhood. She obviously has issues with men and relationships in general. When her mother remarries a great man she is lucky enough to get an awesome step-brother Connor.
Connor moved to Syndey when he graduated college and now Jazzi is going to join him. Her girlfriend talks her into a night out and scoping for a man to lose the V card. Jazzi finds the man for the job and never thinks she will see him again. Unbeknownst to her, Mason was her brother's best friend.
Mason is awesome. He is good looking, patient and oh so hot. The sexy time in this book and his dirty mouth are smoking!
Blake is an adorable character and added so much to this story.

Every Breaking Wave by Megan Nugen Isbell
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Every Breaking Wave by Megan Nugen Isbell
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 Stars
Every Breaking Wave has a great basis. Beth leaves her cheating husband to go to her family's beach house to regroup with her son.
Jeremy is her neighbor at the beach house and has been maintaining the yard for the family. He becomes friends with Beth and her son.
Beth' son Noah is such a cutie.
Isbell gave me humor, sexy time and angst. I fell just short of loving it. I wanted Beth to be a bit more bad a** and Jeremy to be a bit more aggressive. But that is on me, not the author. A sweet love story any romance reader would enjoy.

Ten by Ker Dukey
REVIEWED BY Becky Cox
Ten by Ker Dukey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Ten blew me away. It has it all. Mystery, violence, sex, humor and romance.
I want to blab it all out and tell you all the great parts but then I would ruin it for you.
Alexandria (Alex) fell in love with the neighbor boy at 10 years old. Her older brother Jonah forbid a relationship between his best friend Dalton and his baby sister. Soul mates can't be kept apart and when Alex as old enough, she and Dalton had a secret relationship, until it wasn't a secret.
"There is nothing more nature than falling in love with your soul mate. It's like an out of body experience. You transcend before crashing back into your body, seeing life through new eyes."
Damage done, lives altered, maybe irreparable.
Dalton is angry and hurt. He is sexy and spiteful. He is dirty talking...and he is still in love.
Alex is confused and hurt...and still in love.
Ten is a story of deceit, lies, hurt, drugs, violence, sex and love.
"I want to hate every inch of you using every inch of me."
