The Baller by Vi Keeland
4.5*

This book was so many things rolled into one sexy 'package'; we had so much humor, a ridiculously cocky quarterback, and a hot-shot sports reporter. Fabulous combination that worked perfectly together with Keeland's clever writing.

Brody is such a sexy, cocky, dirty, sweet character who gives really good banter. And Delilah (freaking love her name) who has worked damn hard to get her reporting position in a male dominated field gives just as good as she gets. The chemistry between the two is hot and delicious and I couldn't get enough of them. A down and dirty football novel, you ask? Why yes. Yes, yes it is. Looking forward to more books in this series.

I was smiling throughout most of this book and I was very surprised to shed tears at one point. I don't know if that part just hit far too close to home, but it is what it is.

Great book and great writing. Definitely recommended.
