Eluding Illusions was a humorous, action packed entertaining fantasy/paranormal romance book.
Emma is a great female lead who is quick witted and kicka**. She finds herself in a bit of spot as a result of the family gypsy curse. A demonic creature is after her and she knows better than to get involved but her long time on-line friendship/dating with JG1988 is becoming a real relationship. She has a lot of explaining to do.
Jake is a hot tamale and sings to boot. Yum.
A great original story line (to me anyway) with the gypsy curse and magick of a different sort. A great piece of writing to set the scenery and develop the characters without overwhelming me with information which tends to happen in paranormal books. No worries with that here, Wren Michael had the perfect amount of both and kept me turning pages.
An entertaining read that I would be happy to suggest to my friends.
