This is book 2 in the Uncovering Love Series, though I think it could be a stand alone.

In the first book Jon and Evie start their own Private Investigation Business. Jon, Evie and Kate have been best friends since school. Jon and Evie run the business out of the apartment that they share. Evie fell in love with Tate, whom she was investigating in the first book.

Jon and Kate constantly snip at each other when they are in close vicinity. With all that snipping you know there's underlying sexual tension. Jon has a hard time with how Kate acts and says things that hurt her without meaning too. Typical guy.... not thinking before speaking.

He finally 'sees' behind her act and watch out...it gets HOT.

I really like that we got to revisit with Evie and her man, Tate and we get to know Tate's sister, Carly better. I can't wait for her book. This is a great series.
