This is book 3.5 in the Trident Security Series (I love this series!) Shelby is a sub at the BDSM club on Trident Securities Compound. The one Dom she will not play with is Parker. She knows that he is the one man that could be her 'forever' and she feels that he deserves to have some one who can give him 'everything'. Due to her cancer history that is not possible.
Parker does not know why Samantha won't 'play' with him and it drives him crazy. When she goes missing for a few days he takes it upon himself to find out why and then shows Shelby that his 'care' of her and him being in her life is 'Not Negotiable'.
Did I cry in this book, yes, anyone who has fought that fight or known some one who has can't help but be affected. But, wow, how Parker comes through for her... it's just awesome. He shows her that together they can have everything. She just has to overcome her fears and take that leap of faith.
This is a great addition to the Trident Security Series. It is very heart touching. Awesome series!
