Jobe: Alvarez Security Series by Maryann Jordan

Jobe: Alvarez Security SeriesJobe: Alvarez Security Series by Maryann Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is part of the Alvarez Security Series. In this book we get to know Jobe's history and life experiences on how he came to be the man he is today. After a particular military mission ended Jobe lost control and felt the only way to regain control was to cut off everything and everyone that wasn't part of his 'team' that included breaking off his engagement to his fiance, Mackenna, through an email. A decison he deeply regrets.

The group of men that Jobe served in the military with are now part of Alvarez Security Group.

Mackenna (Mac) is now working at a job with Social Services and runs New Beginnings and taking care of her Mom that is recovering from a stroke. New Beginnings is a program that takes in girls that want to leave gangs. When they start having security issues a friend of her mentions it to her husband, whom just happens to work for Alvarez Security.

They are both shocked when they see each other on the job site. Mac is in danger and the whole team steps in to help Jobe protect his woman.

I absolutely love the way Mary Jordan writes these books. Yes, this is Jobe and Mac's story but all the other team members, their wives, Jobe's parents are all a part of it.

Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. Great job!
