#1 MUSE by T. Gephart

#1 Muse (#1 Series, #5)#1 Muse by T. Gephart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is another great book to add to the #1 series. It is a fun and quick read that will have you snorting and snickering the whole way through. There is also enough angst in there for me to feel like it has more depth to the story.

Nick and Claire have met before, and it was brief but left both wanting more. Nick is that guy.... the good looking actor, from a family of them, that is so sweet that he makes your heart melt. The way they reconnect is pure Claire quirkiness. She is on a mission to retrieve something that is close to her heart. Little did she know that things would change her plans in a big way. Claire has a great support system with her friends Scully and Luke, they will do anything, ANYTHING to help her out. As with every T. Gephart book, there is plenty of banter and Claire has some amusing lines that she will leave a mark on you. The chemistry between them is electric and is so good, it has Claire waiting for the other shoe to drop. Nick will need to pull off a huge classic 80's grand gesture if he is going to win back Claire's trust.

This is a standalone novel and you will not be lost if you start from this point. If you have read the other books in this series however, you will be happy to know that some will make cameos in this one to keep the story line running.
