In this story Antoinette (Toni) Grimaldi is on holiday in London. Her family is very wealthy. She does not like to be in the spotlight and feels awkward in high society standards. She feels like she is a disappointment to her parents. She wants to go on a getaway to London by herself and to her surprise her parents let her. She is doing all the tourist sight seeing. What she does not know is that her parents hired a man to watch her and keep her safe. Jason is a ex soldier and now does security work for Haven Security. He is just suppose to follow her at distant and not make contact with her. As the the days go on he wants more than anything to interact with her but that would break protacol. He sees that she was just pooped on by a goose and wants to help her. Him being the gentleman he is gives her his extra shirt. They hit it off and he wants to spend more time with her. The remaining days of her holiday they spend together. Toni gets a call that her parents need her to return home because of mining accident. Her father is being blamed for it and there has been threats against his family. Jason wants to protect her from any danger but that will mean he must come clean with his boss that he broke the rules. They both hope there romance will continue when they get back home.
I enjoyed reading this story. It was very well written and made you want to keep turning the page to see what happens next. I loved the humor, suspense and the interaction between Toni and Jason. They learn a lot about themselves in the process. I am excited to read the next book in this series.

An Opportunity for Redemption by Donna Gallagher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
In this story Rebecca has been keeping a secret for 7 years. She is a single mom to a little boy named Danny that has lukiemia. She has ran out of options of finding a bone marrow donor for her son. She knows she must get in contact with danny's father if she has any chance of trying to save him from this disease. She sends Nathan an email asking him to do a blood test to see if he is a match for her son. She has never told Nathan that they have a son but he is the spitting image of him. He knows that he is his and is upset she never told him about him. He must first get tested and than goes to her house to confront her about it. When he meets his son, he knows he will do everything in his power to help him and wants to get to know him. He moves in to help care for his son while they wait on his test results to see if he is a match. They both still have feelings for eachother after all these years. Can they get it right the second time around? Can they have there happily ever after? Can Nathan save his son from this disease before its to late?
I loved this story. It makes you believe in second chances. I felt so bad that Rebecca dealt with her son's disease for so long by herself. It took a lot of courage on her part to watch him be so sick and finally do the right thing by emailing Nathan for help. She wanted to give her son the best chance of getting better.
