Andy has known for years that his wife, Heather, is a cheater and basically overlooked it as it wasn't in his face but when he walked in to his wife in bed without another man. He had enough. He files for divorce and is now raising his twin sons on his own.
Christine Jameson runs her own business, Dreamin' Beans. Andy and Christine are aquainted through his stops at her shop. When he walks in after the turmoil with his wife Christine sees a kindred spirit. She lost her husband to cancer years ago but she's kept a very guarded secret that allows her to relate to what Andy is going through. She also knows what it's like to be a raise a child on her own.
Andy and Christine become good friends as they can relate on some many things that each other has gone through/going through. Their relationship builds slowly into something deeper.
The only thing I can say about Heather is she is a piece of work. Having experienced what Andy is going through this book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I loved how Christine dealt with the emotions that Aidan and Reece go through.
When it looks like they are finally going to have a happily ever after their past comes back to threaten their future.
