Saving Me by Sadie Allen

Saving Me
Saving Me by Sadie Allen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Saving Me takes you back to high school and how difficult it is to deal with all the issues that we, as adults, forget. The pressure from parents, peers, and teachers. The inner struggles of coming of age and insecurity. The negative and positive effects our families have.

Ally had just reached the edge of the burden she felt she could carry. Pressures of her dad, grades, track and dating the right boy. Dressing a certain way, acting appropriately. She never got to be herself or even discover who she was until her ill fated decision that changed everything.

Sterling was her saving grace. Just a boy that was at the right place at the right time and saved her from herself. He slowly showed her how to find herself. A boy with wisdom beyond his young years.

There are numerous heavy issues in this book and adult situations. I would suggest it for a mature young adult or any adult romance reader.

Sadie digs deep with this story and it’s eye opening and brings back all the hardships of growing up. If you didn’t struggle with at least one of the issues then you were a truly blessed teen.

Well written moving story.

I was gifted and arc in exchange for an honest review.
