Aw this was a lovely friends to lovers second chance romance story.

I love Penelpe's books and this was another great easy read. I got lost in the characters and their story and I loved the banter and comfortable relationship. Each was well described and as usual her ML are something to lust after.

Channing Amber and Rory were once the best of friends but where there's three there is always a risk to someone being the odd one out. Both Rory and Channing have feelings for Amber and although it was agreed neither will chase her, when Channing leaves to College Rory makes his move. For years they were happy until one day Rory suddenly breaks Amber heart. Amber decides to move on and adjust to his new life without love. So when one fateful day Channing calls her and asks her for a favour, she never expects he will end up coming to share her accommodation. From the moment he appears spark fly and those feelings resurface with a vengeance. Amber is tired of mopping around and when advised to contact an escort agency things take a funny turn and from then on the story takes flight and soars.
There were some emotional turn of events and this is Penelope's masterful writing always leaving the reading guessing where things are heading.

Once again I appreciate the author letting me read and review this fun story.
