Burnout by Brooklyn Taylor

REVIEWED BY Becky Cox

BurnoutBurnout by Brooklyn Taylor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Easton Hunter is at the top of his field in drag racing. He is self-assured and cocky. Easton has no problem with the ladies with his good looks, although he has no room for a relationship between his racing career and his family, especially his niece Sammy that he calls Blue.

Harper Dunn is a female racer. She is strong and confident. I like strong female characters and Harper definitely fits the bill. Harper has an insta-love...with Sammy. She immediately falls in love with the little girl. Sammy is a cute and fun little girl.

Burnout dealt with some heartbreaking tragedy but was overall a light read. There was a bit of angst but not too much.

Easton and Harper burn up the pages as well as the track. I don't anything about racing but easily related to the story.
