Van (Cold Fury Hockey, #9)Van by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is not my first Sawyer Bennett book but is my first in the Cold Fury Hockey series. I would recommend this book to anyone over 18 that likes a hot sports romance. Bennett deliveries strong characters and well developed plots. Van is told in dual POV's which I enjoy. It can definitely be read as a standalone.

Van is an enforcer on the hockey team and a very private person. He stays out of the media as much as possible and keeps to himself.

Simone is forward and an "in your face" kind of girl. I grew to like her as the story developed. In the beginning I felt she was too aggressive in her pursuit of Van, but realized it was just her personality and she was perfect for him.

Van took a lot more convincing that I did. He resisted at every turn. His avoidance and her pursuit was quite funny to read. Once he gave in, they burned up the pages together and made the perfect couple.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
