This is the first book I read from this Author and I was thoroughly surprised.

It is very hard now days to find a story that has all the elements that make it a great read, an engaging and fresh plot, well matched characters,in case of Romance stories, plenty of passion, some twists and something which in my opinion is vital, that is well written. I believe this is the case with Crave. It certainly engaged me from the start and ok the story is not different from many of its kind, but all the other factors were there.

Lilly Jacobs has had a streak of bad luck and has been in very bad situations; she is a tough cookie don't get me wrong, but you know the saying, "When it rains, it pours", well we certainly get a glimpse of that from the very first page. However a chance encounter puts her face to face with arrogant Jake Cavannaugh. Sparks certainly don't fly right away, on the contrary, things go from bad to worse and the last person on Lilly's mind is Jake. And the same goes to him, yes he finds her attractive but he also finds her a handful, oh he doesn't know how full his hands will be alright.

Jake Cavanaugh has made a name for himself, he is the CEO of his own company which allows him to lead a life of freedom where pleasures come and go as he seems fit. He is an eligible bachelor but the last thing on his mind is being attached to someone, he is indeed a true Playboy.

Lady Fate plays a great part in this story and soon both leads have to come face to face. Its hard to Hate someone when you love them so much but it is very easy to Love someone who you originally hate.

Remember the definition at the beginning of my review? Well Jake and Lilly will certainly get acquainted with the word. However soon Lilly's past is literally knocking on her door and this will be the pinnacle piece which will set the wheels in motion for many twists and turns.

A well written and enjoyable storyline, great secundary characters. I certainly recommend this book to all fans of Alpha CEO's and in general readers of good romantic books.
Looking forward to reading more from this Author.
