An InfatuationAn Infatuation by Joe Cosentino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed how the story was told in a flashback. It shows how they are now and what it was like for them growing up in high school. The author did a wonderful job describing the characters, how they interacted with each other and how society views can affect young adults.

This is a beautiful story of friendship between Herold (Nerd) and Mario (Jock). Herold tutors Mario so he can get his grades up to stay on football team. They learn a lot from each other. When feelings develop between them Mario is not sure if he should act on them. It goes against the norm and when some boys bully Herold he is conflicted in giving into his feelings or to push him away. At his 10 yr reunion both Herold and Mario want to remember the great memories of there friendship. They need to decide what there future holds in store for them.

I look forward to read more stories from this author

I was given an ARC for an honest review by Joandisalovesbooks review team.
