Oleah Chronicles: TruthOleah Chronicles: Truth by Michelle Johnson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

Truth, Oleah Chronicles, is a great paranormal YA book. The interaction between characters is entertaining and perfect for high school age characters. The boy freak outs and parent overprotective bashing is fun to read. Michelle builds us a beautiful world in Oleah and a very believable human world.

Angel is being brought up as a human and has both her parents with her. So many of these books have the heroine/hero with no parents, or a single bad parent, and I really liked that Angel had both and that they were such great parents.

Zander is a hottie and mysterious. Angel's best friend Julie is a force unto herself.

This is the first in a series and should be a great series you could recommend to youth and adults alike. I can't wait to read what happens with Angel and Zander.
