Wild Thing is a spin off series from the Children of Ankh series. Some of the characters I loved from Sweet Sleep are in Wild Thing.

This is Lexy's story. She had an horrific childhood and her early adult life wasn't much better. She has known nothing but pain and violence until Grey shows up looking for her in her middle of nowhere cabin. He tells her about family and protection, two things she has never known. Lexy senses that Grey is honest and for some reason calms her and willingly goes with him.

Lexy has so much to learn about proper human interaction and about herself. This is a journey of self discovery and survival. Kim Cormack tells us about violence, abuse, loyalty, friendship and love. Your emotions will run the gamut. I was horrified, sad, frustrated, happy and amused. Even had a few awwwww moments.

Lexy's violent outburst are sometimes terrifying and other times amusing when she unleashes on Tiberius.

Tiberius teased, “Looks like your evil plot to dismember me has been thwarted young lady.” “Oh, I can put it off for a few minutes for the sake of public entertainment,” Lexy sparred. Tiberius’s eyes lit up and he chuckled, “Bad ass psychotic chicks have always turned my crank. By the way, you look unbelievably sexy in red.”

Lexy has strong feelings for Grey and a strange hate/love/hate thing going on with Tiberius.

Grab a copy and enjoy the ride.
