The pleasure was all mine. This book was HOT! If you have read this book or thinking of reading it, you will think the same as me, lucky Alice. Jesus she gets the proposition of a lifetime.
Alice attends a job interview to work at a stately home belonging to Jeremy Davenport. She believes she messed up at the interview, nerves taking over but she gets the call to say the job is hers. Oh it's just the start of her happiness.
Jeremy comes across a little gruff but he's a real nice guy and hot with a wicked sexually appetite.
Alice is doing her best to impress, so when she gets a call to head to Mr Davenports office, she doesn't want to disappoint by arriving late.
Unfortunately she hears something and hovers too long outside his door, that's when she meets, Ethan the security guard, all muscle and drop dead delicious, he comes up behind her and escorts her to another office believing she is spying.
What happens next is hard to believe for her and me and I am not sure why she would have to think about it, I would be on it like a car bonnet. LOL! Alice doesn't see herself as a woman that men would be interested in, she is a curvy woman so her self doubt is never far away, always questioning the why's.
Jeremy and Ethan have certain tasks she must agree to and take part in. It's pretty much blackmail but in a good way.
This story is MEGA HOT! I mean seriously my dreams tonight are going to be off the charts.
Alice's life is on fast speed, first she lands her dream job but it's not a permanent position as she is only covering but still lots of fun to be had while she's there. Then she has the hottest sex of her life with not just one but two men, who can not get enough of her. She is moved out of her flat before she even has time to turn around. Life couldn't get any better but she's going to have to leave eventually and what will happen then is there will be no more working with the two hottest guys on the planet. No more steaming hot sex, no more being look after. Oh I have just depressed myself.
This is a must read, take a look and see what happens to Alice, it will have you squirming.
I am now off to see what else Lucy Felthouse has written because well quite frankly, I want MORE.

Dissident caught me off guard. Nothing like what I was expecting from a political thriller. Majorly hot sex scenes weaved in with witty banter. Caroline's food, movie and baseball references are so clever and funny.

Caroline is in a government hospital in a coma and the book is told back and forth between the present and her memories.

Caroline suffered a great loss when her husband was killed in an accident.
She struggled to do her job in Congress and be a mother to her two children.

She spouts off about Congressman John McIntyre at a political rally and wants to apologize. She ask her best friend to invite him to an event at her home so that she can. Sparks fly from there.

Caroline is cautious emotionally after the loss of her husband but can't deny the attraction between herself and Jack (John McIntyre).

Politically things are heating. Caroline is not one to keep her opinion to herself and I love her.

I am hooked! Based on the first book this is going to be a great series and is so well written I couldn't put it down. I loved Cecilia London's writing style. I felt a part of the story and was on pins and needles waiting to see what happened next. Jack is amazing and my new BBF.

5 Striptastic Stars

The first thing that springs to mind when thinking of how to start this review is, How does a writer grip you so much into the story? I fell in love with Shane and Matthew, beautiful characters. Both have different personalities but I was equally drawn to both. Then we have the monsters like, Walter Debussy, the meanest of characters, along with his sidekick, Roy Parsons, that man is an evil homophobic......., you get what I mean.
We meet other characters along the way like David who is Walter son, boy has he suffered at the hands of his father and Roy. Ultimately this story is about two men, Shane and Matthew both have their own pasts to share.
Matthew works for Mr Pig, AKA Walter. He works from home so I suppose that is a bonus, who would want to be around that man is beyond me.
Matthew has been on his own for a few years now, losing his husband, Sam in a car accident. It's something that Matthew is struggling to get over, the man is living in turmoil. No one really knows what life he lived after Sam's death, he was out of control. Luckily he found his way back and took control of his life once again. He leads a guarded life but Shane is about to change all that.
Shane has a buzzing personality, he is such a fun guy but again he has his own demons to deal with.
These two are a match made in heaven, two hot, sexy men with so much love to give. They are protective of each other and their close friends like David.
Life is never without it's drama, that would be to easy, but things that happen are brutal. The monsters are out to make these men suffer, it's a horrific incident that you actually hear of happening before.
When will ignorant people realise that love is LOVE. Does it really matter who you love and choose to be with. Who are you hurting? Okay so you may not approve of same gender relationships but it's not a crime. Shouldn't people worry about their own lives rather than what others are doing.
Matthew and Shane deserve happiness, I for one loved this story and I know others will too, so if you love M/M Romance with a fantastic story download today. Susan Mac Nicol I hope everyone reads this book and connects with it just like I did. Thank you

This is forbidden love at it's darkest. I knew there would be discomfort going into reading it, but I was greatly surprised by the sympathy I felt for the connection between Lochlan and Maya. Lochlan is 18 and Maya a year behind, they together care for their three younger siblings. Their mother has excited the family for a new relationship but the family is desperate to remain under the social services radar and stay together. I found the narrative of this neglected family difficult reading, it pulled desperately on my mothering instincts . The burden that these two older siblings had to carry was immense and it was inevitable that their life experience would screw them up. Lochlan and Maya's friendship was deeper than the newer connection they had and I felt that it was quite beautiful.

Where this story went filled me with such sadness, to the point that I wanted to disengage with the remaining portion of the book. However, I continued but felt a lack of satisfaction with such a awful outcome. I can say that his book made me read to the detriment of other things in my life. The author describes this family and their life in a very engaging way. Her decision to end the book at the point she did was difficult for me because I needed more of the future. I would recommend reading this book but read the blurb carefully so that you know what you're getting into.

This book took me by storm and invaded my culinary romantic senses. One of my favourite books is 'Like Water for Chocolate' by Laura Esquivel and this book was also able to take food and weave it seamlessly into a story ripe with interesting characters. Where there's food, there's passion and that is true of this book. There is a quirky, different feel to this book and that is positive; I felt like I had come out of my normal genres and immersed myself in something special.

Lou is engaged to a stuffed shirt of a man Devlin (name says it all) who 'allows' her to play with her restaurant until they marry. Lou lives and breaths the creation of good food and the restaurant, named after her grandmother, it is her dream. One day, everything shatters, her relationship initially but the restaurant becomes fall out as it sustains a heinous review. Al is the villainous reviewer but Lou doesn't know his pseudonym as a food critic. When they meet, they connect. This story made me feel. In fact, the last 20% packed such a punch, I was a little unsure where to park my emotions.

This is a debut for Amy E. Reichert but her writing skill indicates that I will be following whatever comes next and after and after that. She showed a natural talent for telling a unique tale in a very normal setting.

Really enjoyed the story line of this book.
It was very well written and executed.
Chelsea is caught up in the murder of her best friend Maddie.
The only trouble is she wakes from a coma with no memories of who she is or what happened to her friend
Will she remember what happened or is she just faking?
Friends and family are still not sure is she remembers anything.
The police are looking for the murderer of Maddie but are they still looking in the wrong place.

Rain Shadow, The Barringer Brothers is a great series. I was hooked from Book 1 and truly enjoyed the adventure.

"Reno" Luke Barringer is near death in the desert when an Angel, Evangeline Sharpe, finds him and saves his life...or does she just draw him into something that is even worse than death.

Luke "Reno" is drawn deeper into the seedy underbelly of Dreygon Sharpe's warped mind and is kept on his toes trying to keep up with Dreygon's ever changing mind sets.

Luke and Angel fall deeper in love with each other and she knows he is hiding something. He is tortured daily with wanting to tell her everything but at what risk.

As Dreygon falls deeper into his cruelty, Angel doesn't know if she will ever escape her grandfather and the life she now can't stand to lead.

Luke "Reno" is willing to sacrifice anything to keep Angel safe. Angel is torn between her old life and an unknown life that is anxious to experience.

I don't want to give away the big "aha" moment so I won't say much more, but this is a must read for any MC book enthusiast.

I am a lover of all things MC and this series definitely delivers.

Abby and Addie, twin sisters, were involved in a horrific car accident that left Addie dead and Abby devastated.

Abby has been struggling with the loss of her twin for years. Her best friend Amy has been there for her and been a great support system when she falls apart.

Amy is outwardly strong and outspoken and picks Abby up when the loss is too much to bear. Amy's on again off again boyfriend Dominic brings a friend along on a date with the girls and sparks fly for Abby and Dominic's friend Evan.

Evan is gorgeous and seems very strong and dominant, but we all have our secrets.

Abby's emotional state and Evan's secrets make for an adventurous story full of hot and steamy scenes. Throw in a hit and run that leaves Abby without her last year of memories and it just gets more interesting.

Ms. Blalock has chocked this one full of mystery and hot sex scenes. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

I just thought His Angel was a wild ride. My Demons is a crazy train from the beginning until the end. Kimberly leaves us with a cliffhanger at the of this book. If you have not read His Angel, you will need to do so before reading My Demons.

I don't want to say much about the plot and give away the "what the hell just happened" moment for anyone else.

It is an up and down ride the entire book and kept me turning pages. Evan and Abby learn a lot about themselves and each other. Evan's love for Abby never waivers. Abby finds an inner strength that she hasn't had before.

I like to pretend that I'm a good person.

Now I feel empty and lifeless stuck in a place I'm not sure I can escape.

What would you do if you had a chance for eternal love and happiness? What would you do to keep the one that sets fire to your soul?

I am anxiously awaiting Our Sins release to find out what happens.

Sara Night's new life is a crazy adventure. She's learning new things, experiencing new things, and getting herself in dangerous situations. Reading the book, you can't help but cheer her on. "Don't do that!" "Come on, you can do it!" and my personal favorite, "Stop talking!" She has to make hard decisions and make the best out of bad situations, but she doesn't lose her good intentions and her quick wit. I'm not sure the entire thing is 100% realistic, but the story line was really creative and the book was a great read. I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to read more into this series.

The past never stays in the past. The pain, guilt, and darkness still flow through my veins and itch to come out. I’m not proud of my secrets, but I have never felt shame either…until her.

Mason's story takes a darker turn. His love for Emma makes him strive to be a better person and attempt to right the wrongs of his past.

Their passion for each other is still very much present and a driving force for them both. J.M. LaRocca has once again drawn me into a passionate mysterious story that I couldn't put down.

Mason makes some major revelations about himself and his life. One of the definitions of redeemed is to make (something that is bad, unpleasant, etc.) better or more acceptable.

Sometimes love is enough....Mason and Emma prove that.

This is my first book by Gena Showater, not being a big PNR reader. I truly enjoyed her ability to tell a good story with great characters who are a little bit different to the average. There was a real fun element to the dialogue which I enjoyed. This was quite a longish read and I appreciated the gradual build of a relationship that wasn't rushed.

Jase is one of three friends bonded by a friendship formed in foster care but solidified by very difficult times. Jase has spent the last 10 years doing something he didn't choose and now the three friends have moved to Strawberry Valley for a new start. Brook Lynn is a woman in her 20s trying to make ends meet with multiple jobs, a hopeless sister she loves and profound hearing loss. Brook Lynn is feisty and defensive with barriers that no one penetrates. Jase and Brook Lynn have an unusual start to their relationship involving her sister which was somewhat unsavory, thankfully they and I as reader, we're able to move past this. There were some good twists and turns in this story and various elements of Jase's past are problematic. A good read and I definitely want to read the others in the series.

Evelyn is a Christian woman, just divorced from an abusive man, she has two young children to care for and decides to take control of her life by going back to and graduating college and getting a job as a nurse. She befriends a woman called Phoenix and her husband John through the church. John Westerling has brothers who are just as handsome as he is. David is right for Evelyn in every way, safe, secure and caring however hard she try's she can't love him. Evelyn falls hard for Johns youngest brother Jonny, who is wild, self entered, broken and so wrong for her. She has had one bad marriage and doesn't want another, she needs a stable man in her life to care for her children, and Jonny is not that man.

I liked that the author gave a song title to each chapter, it set the tone throughout the book. I thought that the book had good twists and turns to keep you hooked until the last page, and then the cliffhanger. I will be interested to see how this story goes in the next book.

This story is so compelling it will have you on the edge of seat!.Susan Mac Nicol is exceptional once again in providing the readers with a story so moving and so full of romance you will not want to put the book down.


All Alexander Montgomery has ever wanted was to have a normal relationship and perhaps a chance at true love, but with his traumatic and horrific past he all but lost any expectations that there will be someone out there that will accept him as he is. You see, Alexander experienced the worst type of abuse at the hands of a madman, someone who once claimed to love Alexander and who, with the promise of a relationship, submitted him to years of physical and mental terror, really that is the only way I can describe this experience. After many years and with a help of a therapist Alexander has learnt to live as best as he can and he has become a prominent writer, he knows he cant have a normal life and as part of his recovery process he seeks the help of an S&M club to cope with his unhealthy needs. Professionally he is ready to launch his televised adaptation of his latest book and he has selected who will play the lead in his new venture, someone who perhaps has been a bigger influence in this story that what he is ready to openly admit.

Enters Sage, an up-and-coming actor amazingly hot and full of charm and charisma, he is perfect in every way and still is a down to earth guy who loves his ranch and his animals. He is called in to interview with the Author of the new series and Sage is so excited at the prospect of being able to get the lead role in what has been his favourite book. He couldn't be more different from Alexander, the only thing missing in Sage's life is a man who can respect him, someone who will not betray him and break his heart, someone like Alexander.

When the two men meet, things don't go exactly to plan as Sage brings out the worst of Alexander but this at the same time excites him. As the two men begin a professional relationship soon lines are begging to get crossed and Sage soon is all Alexander can think of. For Sage is the same, he is determined to get into Alexander's skin and find out every single detail of the man that is plaguing his mind. Determination seems to be Sage's middle name because he wont give up until Alexander gives them a chance, will Sage be his saviour?.

There were so many elements I loved about the story, the characters are perfectly crafted and each of their stories are delivered with a perfect balance and knowledge, Susan knows her topics, her research always amazes me, and there is so much passion in her writing there were times when I had to put the book down to reel my emotions you feel the characters pain, that is not easy for a writer, to transmit so many raw emotions, and that is something I love about Susan's books, she always makes me part of the story.

For all lovers of M/M romance this book is brilliant, it has an original story line, great dialogues, characters, suspense, and plenty of steamy moments, in overall the perfect package.

This is the second book in Paulina's fascinating Witches Amulet series. This book follows the endearing, exciting adventures of Marcus and Michael. This is a heartfelt and steamy story. The M/M relationship is a wonderful tale, I just wonder what Lillith will do next to these sweet, loving, brave men. The story is fast paced, please read Stone Guardian first. I am so excited to read the next book. Paulina's world is one of the most creative, descriptive worlds, and I truly enjoyed this book and both books in the series, so far!

I have been waiting for Matt's story since he was first introduced in Tall, tatted and tempting. Matt stole my heart in that book, as he appeared to be in a palliative stage of his illness. This story finds him a few years down the line, in remission but still single after the heartache of being dumped after diagnosis. Matt is everything that all the other Reed brothers are, tall, blonde and gorgeous but also with the biggest heart. This book plunges into Kendra's funeral, a fellow cancer sufferer of Matt's and half sister to Skylar. Sky is asked to take on Kendra's children and Matt is a willing helper. I loved the connection between these two even if it was instalove. They moved extremely quickly and I would have enjoyed a slightly slower pace. However, this was easy, lose yourself reading and I did enjoy it.

I am totally intrigued by the hint of Paul and Friday, so I'm fairly desperate for their book. I hope it's coming soon. The Reed brothers and Tammy Faulkner never disappoint.

Book 1:
In this book, it sets the scene of a beaten and near death man found in the desert. Angel rescues him and brings him back to the family "compound". But will he be any better off? "Reno" as they have come to call him, as he has lost his memory, has to be on guard constantly with the MC gang - most of all when he remembers who he is. Because nothing or no-one will be able to save him - not even his Angel!

Book 2:
Once Luke has his memory back, its a game of one step ahead of the others, to make sure the MC don't discover his true identity. In the meantime, the relationship between Luke and Angel heats up, a lot! Angel needs to play Doctor again for Luke and other MC members who can't seem to keep their tempers in check. Although there is one she can't save.

Book 3:
Things pick up straight from book 2. Angel has left the compound, devastated over loosing Aunt Gracie and Luke. She heads out into the world not knowing where to go or that Luke is still alive.
Luke is trying to get to Angel as well a capturing the bikers that killed Dex. All things come to those that wait and Luke gets to see these guys never leave prison again. Now onto finding his Angel and getting her safe.

Book 4:
Now at Gage's ranch, things are at a normal pace for Angel and Luke. They get to live a relatively regular life. Richo, who has gone to the ranch with them, gets a chance to heal his leg. Of course, that's not Dreygon's plans, so they need to head back home to Reno for answers and Luke is called back to work. Cash has returned which eases Luke's mind some, having an extra set of eyes with Dreygon's threats. But something has triggered off alarm bells for Luke and things are going to get even stranger now. Has he figured out Dreygon's secret?

Book 5:
After thinking that things can be normal, Luke and Angel get to take a short vacation to Lake Tahoe and do "stuff". Dreygon has other intentions. He is playing mind games with Luke and his DEA job, and has Cash beaten for being a "rat". Luke knows that Dreygon is loosing his mind and needs to step up his hunch of one of his dad's cold cases.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I have basically read one book a day, as I couldn't put them down. I was lucky to have had them in this box set so I didn't have to wait for the next instalment. Tess has written a perfect balance of romance, mystery and keeping it realistic. You wont be disappointed with this series.

Things are going at an even momentum with Luke back at work and Angel, Cash and Richo keeping the home front safe. Dreygon is playing mind games with Luke and his DEA job.

Luke and Angel get to go away to Lake Tahoe for some hiking, boating and "stuff!" Once they are back, Dreygon has his men find Cash and they give him a good beating. Doc Angel can only do so much with her limited supplies but super glue comes in handy instead of stitches. This assault makes Luke go ahead to seek the truth about Angel, but could this tear them apart?

As with all good finales, we get all the answers we have been seeking through the five books. Things are wrapped up at the compound in a spectacular way. And the mystery intriguing us throughout the series is solved, it happened to be one of Luke's dad's cold cases. This rocks Angel's life but once she has time to absorb it all, she can only see it being for the better. This book was just as thrilling as the other four, and I would recommend it highly.

Even though this book was slower in pace, it was just as good as the others. I loved that we got to read the relationship between Luke and Angel blossoming and growing stronger. Their time on the ranch with Gage and Richo was a much needed change of pace. And getting to know Gage better wasn't a chore either! I am glad Richo had someone there for him too, after his "big brother" Cash is away. And will we see more of Friday - I hope so.

Of course, all good things come to an end, and they have to leave the ranch and head back to Reno. Luke is called back to work and the sooner he can get Dreygon behind bars, the better. Luke and Angel get some alone time at his house, but sharing a bath together is triggering some alarm bells for him. Has he finally got something on Dreygon?

Some would call this book a filler in, I would call it a setter up. All of it was needed to help bring this baby to an amazing finish. The mystery is unravelling perfectly.

WoW this book completely blew me away!

I received and ARC for an honest review of this book and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to delve into the story of Lydia and James.

It seems once life was so perfect for Lydia, she had the perfect house, the perfect, boyfriend, nothing could have had prepared her for such a crude and sad reality, life isn't perfect. Soon she finds herself homeless and loveless. The only thing she seems to still have control of is her work, and it is there where she is approached by James. He is so complicated and difficult to read, nothing really is at it seems with him but for some strange reason he seems drawn to Lydia and in the long run by trying to help her he might just end up helping himself.
Both leads are hiding painful secrets and sometimes a mask is the only alternative to hiding more than ones identity. Soon these two unlikely characters embark in a journey of self discovery, where not only Lydia's mind is a stake but her body is at the mercy of of someone so Dirty, so Bad and So Wrong she will either loose herself or find what she was always looking for.

In this second instalment of the September Series, the story reaches its climax and we rewarded with a nail bitting plot and with an EPIC finale!

September is ready to start her freshman year in college and at her stepsister insistence she decides to remain close to her and of course Jesse. Jesse seems to be growing his business and becoming very successful and he has finally given into the desires September ignites in him, and even though thoughts of what society or family might think still plague his mind, time with September seems to stand still when they are together. For September being with Jesse is all she has ever dreamed of but his insecurities regarding their age difference and fears of committing the same past mistakes are a constant barrier to eternal happiness and soon things become even more difficult when a person from their past re-apears putting a hold to their relationship.

September will have to take drastic measures in spite of her love for Jesse in order to protect herself and her heart. But heartbreak is sometimes all it takes to give one a wake up call, and soon Jesse is faced with the painful reality of a life without September.
Secrets are revealed as new ones are kept. But can we really put a time frame on love? Time or distance doesn't change such strong feelings and Jesse will stop at nothing until he has September back where she belongs.

There are many songs about September out there, but whilst reading this book a particular tune kept playing in my mind, September Morn by Neil Diamond and I will close my review with a line which in my opinion says it all: "We Traveled halfway round the world to find ourselves again". I loved September's and Jesse's journey and I was delighted to have taken this trip with them.

This book started really well, it jumped straight into a very engaging story. I loved how Ronan and Halliday met. I had a great mental picture of Ronan. I found Halliday harder to picture maybe because she was quite flaky as a character at times. You could argue that she's allowed to be flaky, having lived through a gang rape and torture. The relationship between Ronan and Halliday quickly moved forward. I found Ronan's swift desire for a relationship somewhat lacking in credibility considering his back story and the fact that they hadn't known each other more than a few days.

An interesting story develops between these two, their pasts, present, future and respective families get in the way. Ronan's life as a film star inevitably interferes in normal relationship development. Maybe that's why everything between them seemed accelerated. A good read with intense characters and plenty of hot bedroom action.

This was a cool science fiction YA read. There were times I may have liked a little more detail to explain why or how things turned into the way they were. But Logan Keys has painted a fascinating future where many are dying of cancer, turning into zombies, or going to extreme measures to live longer. We are introduced to two very remarkable main characters, Tom and Liza. And I liked that she kept me guessing as to how these two characters would converge in the story. There is also several secondary characters who I will be anxious to read more about in the next installment of this story. I look forward to reading it. This story was original and exciting.

I absolutely loved this story. The Title had me completely intrigued and the story indeed was an intriguing one.

I am sure there will be people who will talk about the Taboo topic, however, in order to totally understand the events of this romantic story, one must embark in this tale of love. LOVE has many faces and we can't control who we fall in love with, nor the time when this will occur. We only know we will do pretty much everything for the recipient of that love, and that if it is the right thing it will provide us with a force so strong we can fight any battle of goliath proportions, as nothing will stand in our way and nobody will be able to break that bond.
September loved someone like this, his name was Jesse Ryan, he was her stepdad, and this is their story....

One day September's world is turned up side down when her mom decides she pretty much had enough and takes off with another man to an unknown destination. For someone so young, September however handles the situation surprisingly well, she's told to never reveal why she left and with who. In those crucial moments September has to grow up and take care of her younger half sister Scout and wait for her stepfather Jesse to come home and face the fact that the woman he loved has left him without remorse.
Things pretty soon become quite obvious for Jesse and he has to make an important decision, he can't keep September, she needs to go and stay with her grandparents where she will get the best education and will be with someone who is related to her. This is a devastating blow to September but as a child she has no say in what she wants. Fast forward time, September is in her last year of high school, Jesse who has put his affairs in order needs some help around the house and someone to look after Scout for the summer and September seems like the best choice. Little do they know destiny is about to knock on their doors and their lives will be forever changed.
As September is physically changing, so does her feelings towards Jesse, he has always been there for her and was always attentive, but now things seem awkward and she feels this pull towards him that is totally alien to her, Jesse can't seem to understand this alpha traits and complete possessiveness towards September either.
They will both have to come to terms with what they are feeling. People around them will not be understanding and there is always someone lurking in the shadows wanting what other people have. All these external factors will play an important role in the culmination of this story,  when hopefully we will find out if they will succumb to the only true sin, Not going for what they love.

Andrea Smith is a wonderful writer. She makes this such an easy to read, at the same time having you at the edge of your seat rushing to read faster to the next chapter. Each dialogue is delivered flawlessly and each character is very well portrayed, there are plenty of steamy moments and these will have you looking for that September breeze. This is no easy story to tell and yet through her hand it seems effortless task. I am delighted to have found my new Book Boyfriend and can't wait to read the concluding part of this scorchingly magnificent book.

Four Play by Amalie Silver.

I had previously read three of the books in this laugh-out-loud quartet and I'll say that they were all highly entertaining and enjoyable.

Big Balls had me shamelessly snorting from the very first page and it continued throughout! Amalie certainly has a fascinating way of drawing the reader right in to her perfectly woven web of words and I loved it in this novella! Big Balls had the perfect mix of humor and romance.

Debating Number 10 is the story of a self-confessed douchebag. This novella is about Simon who is sleeping his way through the girls in his debate team and his plan is to seduce his debate teacher after he bags number ten who he hopes will be Arleen. This was a very sweet and funny story - funny in that who, but Simon, tracks their conquests on a spreadsheet and sweet because watching the relationship between Simon and Arleen grow was really lovely. I really loved that Amalie had me in fits of laughter and serious eye-rolling amidst some feelings of genuine compassion for Simon and his lack of relationship with his parents. Great read.

Surrendering To Innocence
This is yet another deliciously hilarious novella. I won't rehash the story but I will say that the characters are definitely likable and the plot, interesting. I adore the witty dialogue that Amalie comes up with and found myself laughing out loud more than once.

Fair Play
And finally we have Fair Play. The novella I've been waiting a whole year for! In truth, I was expecting a sequel to Michael and Lauren's story, but Amalie has cleverly nixed that idea and given us a prequel instead and I'm so happy about it! In this story, we find out what really happened all those years ago when Michael and Lauren first met, where things went wrong and why. This has Amalie's signature satirical style and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I absolutely recommend this collection of stories from Amalie Silver. They're all fantastic short reads that will not disappoint.

Sinful Intent by Chelle Bliss

I was really excited when I first realized that Chelle Bliss was creating a new series that would be a spin-off to the Men of Inked series and immediately signed up for an arc so I wouldn't have to wait! Having said that, you don't have to have read the Men of Inked series to enjoy Alfa Investigations (although, you really should because it's an AWESOME series).

I really enjoyed this book and its characters. Morgan is a bad-boy gone good - but still deliciously bad - who has recently returned from serving in the military and moves states to work at his cousins PI firm. Enter his first case, Race - yes it's her name and has a beautiful story behind it. Strong, uptight, rigid with a soft side that not many get to see. Watching these two butt heads time and time again was pretty entertaining and when they got together, it was kinda explosive.
Being a PI story, one would expect some intrigue and suspense and that was delivered very nicely along with some LOL moments, and, if I'm being honest, Fran DeLuca is possibly my favorite character in the book!

I really did enjoy this book. However, I think some parts were a little rushed and I would have loved some more detail. But overall a great read and a fantastic start to a new series.

In this sequel, it picks up straight from the previous one. Angel is walking the highway to escape the family and hitches a ride with a female truck driver. Luke is being debriefed by the DEA and his brothers. They all need to come to terms with Dex's death. Angel makes her way to a motel and hides out for a while, working out where best to run to. Unfortunately things just don't go her way. Gunner finds her and he is going to use her as a leverage to become President of the MC. Little does he know, Dreygon has something else planned. Luke is on the case, after securing the bikers who held him and Dex captive, he is now fully concentrating on finding his Angel. Will he "Slay the Dreygon?" (You know I had to go there!)

Things do heat up in this book, but knowing its book three out of five, not everything is wrapped up for us. But that is Ok because I am sure going to love heading into book four to see how it all pans out. I am really enjoying this series and super happy I can go from one book to the next without any delays. I love the way Tess can weave the mysteries into the story without them being too obvious and keeping it realistic and interesting. She truly is clever at her craft.

Let the sinning commence. The only sin I can think of is not reading this book. It was brilliant with sinners at every turn. The mother, the neighbour, the friend. September and Jesse's world is full of them. Two people that love each other with everything they have end up not being able to have what they most want in the world, each other.
Now if you've read book one in this fantastic series, you are not going to be able to put this book down.
Yes it's a complicated relationship but you tell me what relationships aren't. Forget who's related to who, there is no crime here, only love.
September is at college, meeting new friends, working hard and missing Jesse terribly. Jesse is working hard, ignoring the wife LOL, it's only on paper people, the woman abandon them all years ago, let's not forget. He is trying to forget all about September and failing miserably. He will always love her, that much is very clear.
The grandparents of September and Scout are desperate for Jesse and Sarah, formally known as Libby, to rekindle their love and give the marriage a second chance. Pfffft not in this life time. Sarah would jump at the chance but no way is Jesse that stupid. He is a caring, loving man but he no longer feels anything for her, she's Scout's mother and that's it.
September hates her mother with a passion and in all honesty she has valid reasons. I don't think she will ever forgive her.
God knows what the neighbour Casey is up to now, befriending Sarah, that woman wants Jesse all to herself, HA! another big fat NO. I think they are all forgetting one very important detail here, he's found real love and when that happens nothing can compare. So all the women that seem to be in heat around Jesse need to take a cold shower and quick. I just had mine haha!! Seriously the man is HOT!!
Them rip off your clothes moments melted my panties. He's got everything any woman would want in a man, hard working, great father, helps around the house, fun to be with, caring, loving, pleasing to the eyes and an exceptional lover. What more could a girl want? Oh yeah for him to divorce his wife, that might help.
September has yet another secret and Jesse is about to find out, giving September no option but to do as he says. Dominant Jesse is in the house, I love it.
Bless Scout she's a great kid, probably knows a lot more than she should but that's life. Sometimes it's best to be open and honest because you want your children to do the same.
September may have ended but the love in this story will last a life time. Happy smiles all round for a fantastic ending. I am now looking to see what other books this Author has written as her writing is off the charts epic. I recommend you pick up a book by Andrea Smith today. Thank you for once again for another awesome book.

Oh how I wish there was a hot billionaire living next door to me. Logan sounds like a dream come true.
Holly tries to avoid Logan at all costs, it's not that she doesn't like him, she not blind, the man oozes sex appeal but she's just not into one night stands.
This is a short and sexy read, no huge story here. It's a romantic and hot, well if you don't include the blackmail. Gasp! blackmailed into having sex, really? Yep but it's all good, trust me. All Holly wanted to do was save the cat and Logan just wanted the pussy.

I love this series. I could not wait to get my hands on this book. The character's you can't help fall in love with them because they touch your heart. The story is always incredible and has a twist you never see coming.

In this story, Elsie is smitten with the two hot guys from the gym. She likes to keep guys at arms length away and keep her heart locked away. She is scarred both mentally and physically from her past. She needs the right man or men to unlock her from her past.

John and Brian are both ex military and MMA fighters. They are also best friends. These men have seen who they want and are always up for a challenge.

I received an arc through a contest I won and was also asked to review it from JoandIsalovesbooks review team for an honest review.

I loved Kink, holy crap it was so erotic and the connection the 3 of them share is incredible. Kink blew me away.

I will be anxiously awaiting Brian's story in next book.

This book is about Sally and how her present life came to be.

I loved how the author started out in present tense and then went back in time tracing back history with Sally's ancestor's explaining re-encarnation and how each character came to be. The details in each time period are very good. It made you feel you could actually picture the character in each time and place.

This is a very well written book.

This read crashed into my world and sucked me in whole. I devoured the book and wished for more reading time. I've never heard of Lara Avery before but the blurb on netgalley intrigued me and I was not disappointed.

Michelle and Kelsey are 17 year old twins, they've drifted in their closeness in their teens as they're so different. One a dancer, one an artist. Kelsey has a long term boyfriend, Michelle falls in and out of love regularly. Michelle has met Peter, who is about to go to Afghanistan on his first tour. Michelle is killed in a car accident on her way home from taking him to the airport. Kelsey is left without her other half and has no way to get in touch with Peter. When he skypes Michelle, she finds it impossible to tell him. What plays out in Kelsey's life and relationship is compelling. There are terrible secrets but there is also love.

This book was a breath of fresh air to read, YA at it's very best. How the story grew, developed and played out had me guessing, unsure and worried for the characters. Lara Avery wrote eloquently and I look forward to more from her.

This was different to any KA Tucker book I've previously read but I'm a loyal fan and I liked the different tone.

Amber is an American tourist in her 20s on a four month 'see all you can of the world' trip. She landed in Ireland the day before and was busy hurtling to her tour of the city pick up. She is jumped on by a local man when the world literally explodes.

River saved Amber from his brother's wrong doings and now he's suffering literally. Neither Amber or River can forget about their brief meeting. These two are an unlikely coupling, from completely different sides of the tracks. This book was suspense filled and drew me in. There were aspects of the IRA that didn't gel for me but I have personal feelings about it having been involved in the Manchester bombing aftermath.

Two married couples, Mirella and Gabe, Weston and Bridget. Mirella and Gabe have a solid, passionate marriage and two children. An opportunistic meeting with Weston and Bridget leads to a proposition involving dates and rules. Amongst the rules there are to be no emotional connections. Weston and Bridget have an open marriage but how could this ever not be complicated?

This book gripped me. It's like watching a car approaching and not breaking in the distance but you still can't look away. I loved Mirella and Gabe's relationship but I still enjoyed the development of the dates. I would have liked to have seen the other side to the dates between Gabe and Bridget but that isn't the focus of the storyline. The ending left me wanting more and I'm glad to see a second book is on it's way.

Private North was a great read. Ms. Oliver gave us mystery, romance and humor; not to mention the hot hot Private North.

August is a trust fund baby trying to forge her own way at college and be able to make her own decisions. She foregoes a sterile winter break with her family to take an internship with her favorite Professor. When Professor North invites her to his home during winter break to do the internship, August encounters the North brothers, Ethan and Dalton. You will need to read the book to see which North brother sparks a fire for August but when he does its steaming.

This is my first Tess Oliver book and I love her writing style. The romantic scenes were so very hot. Thanks for a great read Ms. Oliver.

Four Play is four novellas. My favorite was Fair Play which is the prequel to Word Play that I enjoyed very much.

All four are funny, sassy stories that made me chuckle.

Big Balls - Softball players, umpires and some hot times.

Debating Number Ten - Teacher crush and the car analogies kept me laughing.

Surrendering to Innocence - Wilson has a crush to end all crushes on his best friends Mom.

Fair Play - Prequel to Word Play, the original meeting of Lauren and Michael and my favorite.


Enjoyed them all for a quick fun read.
